Quality Inn Galesburg Near US Highway 34 and I-74

We booked directly with this Quality Inn for a one-night stay in Galesburg. We needed a pet-friendly room and this hotel was a reasonably price place to stay. Our room was around $150 with a $20 pet fee. It was conveniently located near the intersection of 74 and 34. We booked a two-queen room with a nice size desk and a lounge chair. We appreciated a larger mini-fridge which also had a freezer section. We also had a microwave. There was limited free off street parking which did accommodate large vehicles. While it is across the street from the Sandburg Mall, the mall is virtually vacant. It is a short drive to Hy-Vee groceries, local and franchise restaurants. and other conveniences. The bathroom had a tub and shower with a separate vanity area. It is a two story building so request first floor if that is more convenient for you with your pet. There is an operating elevator. There is limited grassy area for walking your pet. The grounds could have been patrolled more often to keep them neater. The breakfast had hot options (sausage patties and scrambled eggs) with continental options.

Always great customer service and rooms are comfortable, and clean, breakfast is always good I get up every morning to enjoy it, staff is always helpful with any question we may have during stay, thanks

This hotel was clean and quiet. We had no problems. Everything worked as expected. We even used the washer and dryer. I made the comment that the way they were positioned made use a little awkward and the maintenance guy immediately changed it. I guess he agreed.

I have been there quiet a few times and they are great. They have clean rooms, very good breakfast and great customer service. It was very quiet and they also has washer and dryer on site. If you forget something do ask at the front desk they will help you with smile.

They made a great adjustment with no problems, they really nice about add my children to the reservation, great hot breakfast bar, my children’s really loved the pancakes , cereal and unlimited juice

The bed was so comfortable. I could have slept all day. I stayed 4 nights and feel so well rested. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast was good. Pet friendly hotel, which is so much appreciated. Just one suggestion- I would add a fenced yard in the back for those with dogs so they can have an off leash run. There is a dog park not too far away, but it would just be nice to have an off leash run right there. My dog prefers to do his business without a leash.

Clean and definitely willing to work with u quiet would definitely come back rooms are very spacious I love that it is pet friendly and there is a wonderful seating area out back to have a cigarette out of the wind

Older motel, staff was attentive and friendly, Breakfast even for a Quality Inn was marginal, (I am a big CHOICE points fan) Received an odd call about 11pm from front desk to turn off the bathroom fan...really??? Was asleep and complied without pushing back. Some folks like the 'white noise'. First stay was on SOUTH side facing Fairview or Hampton Inn (forgot which) It had instant hot water but caught a lot of sun. Second stay, requested North side to avoid sun. Room was fine but hot water took over 10 minutes to arrive. Hot water was instant on South side. Go Figure. Both stays were abut 2 weeks or longer. Liked getting the points and location is good but it was an adequate experience and nothing special. Next time in town will try Priceline.com as there are lots of motels here and that pricing was better. Again nice folks, marginal stay.
