My wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.

Great location. 5min walk to station 2min walk to bus. Right opposite there’s a huge mall and right beside the attraction. Behind the hotel 5min walk there’s local delicacy as well. Awesome service by the young and energetic hotel staff and the facilities and room is superb for the price.

The newly opened hotel is very close to several scenic spots such as Sanfang Qixiang, Shangxiahang, Yantai Mountain, etc. It is very convenient for travel. The chubby girl with glasses at the front desk of the hotel provided great service. She was very polite and thoughtful. Good review!

I was going to Xiamen to watch the Chinese national football team and wanted to visit the surrounding cities, so I chose Fuzhou as my first stop. Because I could only stay for one night due to the tight schedule, I stayed far away around Sanfang Qixiang. I searched a lot of accommodations before, but I saw that the B&Bs around here were all old houses and I had concerns about hygiene (I was afraid that the rat people would discourage me), so I chose a chain hotel. The self-service laundry + drying is really convenient, and there are also freshly made rice noodles for breakfast. It's not far from Sanfang Qixiang, and I spent a beautiful night strolling around. The location is also very convenient!

The room we stayed in looks smaller than the pictures described , the decor is quite nice, the bathroom is good, the shower is strong and the big plus it's got a automatic toilet. One issue was the duvet had dirty marks, anyway that was sorted straight away, the maid gave us 2 bottles water to compensate, unlike other hotels, the water is free or near the hallway to pick up yourself. There's a plenty of restaurants nearby but it's mainly Noodles restaurants and BBQ snacks restaurants, you need to go bit further on to find more restaurants, the staff was ok, but not very informative. Finally another good thing is got a washer room, which is on level 26. Overall it was a reasonable stay.

Rooms are spacious, however cleanliness of the hotel is lacking , you can tell they don’t do a thorough clean of the bathrooms … with water marks on the stainless steel and soap scum around the taps … The air conditioning sound is also very loud , as it was hot outside it took a long time for the aircon to cool the room down at night. Had to use the earplugs to drown out the noise …

[Advantages:] - Strategically situated for both city exploration and convenient airport bus accessibility. [Disadvantages:] - Despite being marketed as a city view room, the accommodation lacks any scenic vistas due to an obstructing tall metal wall directly outside the windows. The breakfast provided fell short of expectations, and I recommend considering alternative options such as ordering from a reputable food delivery service or exploring nearby dining establishments.

The location of the hotel is excellent! It’s about 100m away from Shu Dou train station, surrounding with many beautiful restaurants, hotels, shops. Almost at the central and beautiful Wushi road, near to the Fuzhou world trade centre, just two stations away from central Dongjieko, very convenient to move around to visit any other famous and scenery places in Fuzhou city. The hotel is very new and clean with robots to provide some needy services. The best part is the hotel provides very delicious breakfast, almost gathering all the famous nice foods in Fuzhou city for the breakfast. Definitely I will come back to stay in this hotel if I visit Fuzhou again in future.

The hotel staff were very nice, polite and accomodating. I had arrived there early and they did not have a problem looking after my belongings while I explored the city. As I explored they had called to notify me that the room was ready and that I could come back at any time. When I had returned they informed me that they had given me a free upgrade. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was very delicious and had quite a few options. Located in the centre of the city and the area around it is also very interesting with many international restaurant options. 100% would style there again

The hotel I stayed in this time was great. The room was very clean and in good condition in every aspect. The waiters were also very kind and the service was very considerate. The stay was so comfortable that I stayed for another two days. I will stay in this hotel next time I go there
