Tokyu Stay Fukuoka Tenjin Reviews

We enjoy the Tokyu Stay chain of hotels in Japan for their simplicity and good selection of useful amenities inside and outside the rooms such as ensuite washer dryer combos and good free coffee at the lobby etc. This is not a luxury hotel by no means, but they are affordable and are usually located in great down town areas.

Overall good, just no flexibility on late charge

Location of the hotel was good, right in the heart of town. Many restaurants around and Lawson convenient store right downstairs. Malls on the left and Canal City a 10 minute walk away. Cons is that this is really basic for the price. They don't provide water in the room and only basic housekeeping if requested for. Reception staff doesn't look friendly. Washing machine and microwave provided in the room. Size of the room is bed is good considering its in Japan.

Front Desk service is kind of cold without smile. But the staff who help us get the luggage on checkout date is kind

Hotel is located in a great location. Room size is adequate and condition is clean. Amenities are sufficiently supplied. however the in-room WiFi signal strength is below standard, I find it barely usable unless you stand near the main door.

Summary: Pleasant and comfortable stay. Staffs are very kind & helpful. You can keep your luggage for a day at the hotel after the check out. Location - It is perfectly located between Tenjin and Hakata. You could walk to one of two spots as you wish. Since it is also located right next to Nakasu, visit the street stalls at night to enjoy the Yatai. Room - Fairly large room for two. You could easily do the packing your luggage with ease. If you stay 10th floor or above, the night view is good. Well maintained room and cosy bed. Two different pillows at your convenience. Bathroom - Fairly spacious. Bath tub is big enough to fit in 6.2 ft man. No worry about hot water. Room Service - Not cleaned daily. Only limited room service available including Towel and Gown refill and emptying the dustbin. ETC - iced americano at 2nd floor is a MUST. Conclusion : I am staying here if I visit Fukuoka next time.

good location and closed to many restaurants, department stores, and public transportation. room was excellent with washing machine and microwave. will definitely come back :)

Very convenient location. I love the fact that there is a washing machine inside the room so you do not have to wait for laundry. Breakfast is excellent and there are so many taverns with Izakaya food around.

You might think the price is a bit expensive but considering the convinience from hotel, I can say it‘s reasonable. As it is located near Tenjin, you can take a break aftrr shopping or lunch.

The hotel is conveniently located near train stations, with direct train line to airport. It's also near to many department stores, the canal and lots of eateries there day and night. The room is big compared to typical Japan hotel rooms. There's a washer and dryer in the room, we can do laundry easily. Also a microwave which we can heat up food. Fresh coffee is available at reception. Would stay again.

the room is not giant but that is spacious enough for 2 people. Good restaurants in walking distance and hotel is near to shopping districts.
