The hotel could not be faulted. Booking in was efficient and very friendly. The room was excellent. The hotel celebrated Beautrix Potter in a very dignified way. The facilities and location were excellent for our needs and the breakfast topped a great visit. We will definitely be returning.

At first, we saw a bug on the toilet towel in the original room, and I was very worried and told the front desk. Later, he gave us a new room with a view. The location of the house is really good, and it has a magical history.

The hotel is nestled in a green wooded area, boasting its own private garden and ample parking. Walking to Bowness Pier takes about 20 minutes, which turned out to be a blessing as we searched five or six car parks closer to the pier and couldn't find a single empty spot. Inside, the hotel is pleasantly decorated and features a bar and a restaurant, with good service overall. My only disappointment was the room I stayed in; there was no Wi-Fi signal, and the mobile network signal was extremely weak and patchy.

**Environment:** The setting is absolutely wonderful, situated right within the lake district. It's an old manor hotel, and without an elevator, carrying heavy luggage yourself could be quite inconvenient. **Facilities:** The hotel is quite dated, and the room facilities are a bit basic. However, the fantastic environment is a huge redeeming quality, and overall, its minor drawbacks don't overshadow the positives.

I stayed here because I thought it was a gift from Beatrix Potter, one of the sacred sites for Peter Rabbit fans. I was able to spend two days in a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone feeling down from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Access is difficult. It might be good for people who enjoy walking. Be aware that bus services are reduced during the winter months.

But when I checked in, I charged an extra 70 pounds a night, and I will definitely not stay here next time. (The springs on the bed are all broken, and the bed is full of bumps and pits. Maybe the skin is sensitive. When you see the room is not clean, you will feel itchy all over your body)

First of all, I must like the design of this small hotel. It has a great sense of design. It is located in the lake area not too close to the lake. It is very quiet and the garden is very delicate. It is also very convenient to walk to the nearby lake for about 20 minutes. You need to make a reservation for dinner. It’s still dark at 10:30, so you can walk to the center of town to eat pizza. There is free parking, which is really nice.

酒店不太人性化， 在處理因特殊原因，需要退房的情況，一點都沒有退款，並沒有想全額退款，全部照收，也太不合乎情理。
