Chateraise Hotel Isawa

You can get cake and a drink when you check in between 15:00 and 17:00. In addition to Nishikigoi, there are also a mother and baby spot-bill ducks in the pond in the courtyard. You can feed the carp and ducks (110 yen tax included). The only amenities in the guest rooms are bath towels, bathroom towels, and toothbrushes. You can get hairbrushes, shower caps, razors, cotton pads, and cotton swabs at the front desk. You can eat as much Chateraise ice cream as you want (although the variety is limited). It seems that many people stay at the hotel by collecting Chateraise points and getting free accommodation vouchers.

We stayed in a room that allows dogs (a Japanese-style room with two beds). There is an entrance at the back of the hotel for those with dogs, and they can enter with their dogs on a leash. There seem to be about six rooms on the first floor. The fee for bringing a pet is 2,500 yen. That's pretty normal. The only dog ​​supplies are a toilet, a sheet, and a roller. It's OK compared to places with nothing, but since they made a room just for dogs, I think they could have thought up a little more service. The building and rooms are old, but there were no major issues with cleaning, and the bathroom seemed to have been renovated and was clean. There were two room keys. The hot spring was a little warm and comfortable. The meal was a kaiseki meal using local ingredients. It was tasty, the volume was just right, and above all, the price of alcohol was cheap. Most were 500 to 600 yen. I thought this was a bargain that you won't find anywhere else. There was also a comprehensive welcome service. There was all-you-can-drink wine and Chateraise cake. I personally like Chateraise sweets, so this was a nice service.

Currently, this inn has been reborn as Chateraise Hotel Isawa. The facilities are a little old, but they are clean and the service is very good. 1. Welcome cake service is available If you check in before 5pm, you will be given a welcome cake service. When I visited, there was a wide variety of cakes to choose from. You can also have coffee and other drinks with your cake. 2. All-you-can-eat ice cream service From check-in until 10pm, you can eat as much Chateraise ice cream as you want. They have the same chocolate Bucky that is normally sold in stores. You can also purchase Chateraise products as souvenirs. The outlet Baumkuchen was 800 yen. Most of the staff are very friendly and will greet you if you meet them in the hallway. There was a wide variety at the breakfast buffet. It's close to Isawa Station, so I think I'd like to use it again. The only negative point is that there is no auto-lock. That was a bit inconvenient.

It was acquired by Chateraise and became Chateraise Hotel Isawa. The prices are in the same price range as hot spring inns and hotels that have existed for a long time, but I think the contents are at the same level as the old Kanpo Inn (I have never stayed there). There are free all-you-can-eat popsicles and welcome cakes, which may be good for families with children, but the public bath, open-air bath, and garden do not seem to have been renovated or refurbished, making them a bit different from other inns. It was much lower than the public bath, open-air bath, and garden, and I wondered if this was the Chateraise Hotel. The kaiseki meal, made with ingredients from Yamanashi, was very satisfying.

Since I was a child, I often went to Kanpo no Yado. When I heard that the Kanpo Inn was going to run out, I decided to take my mother somewhere... When I asked my mother where she wanted to go, she said Isawa. I didn't have much memory of it since I was so young, but my mother was happy to think back on it.
