15:00～17:00のチェックイン時にケーキと飲み物が貰えます。 中庭の池には、錦鯉に加えてカルガモの親子がいました。 鯉とカルガモには、餌（＝麩110税込）をあげることができます。 客室にあるアメニティは、バスタオル、浴室用のタオル、歯ブラシだけです。 ヘアブラシやシャワーキャップ、カミソリ、コットンパッド、綿棒は、フロントで言えば貰えます。 シャトレーゼのアイスは、（種類は限られますが）食べ放題です。 シャトレーゼのポイントを貯めて無料宿泊券をゲットして、宿泊されている方が多いようです。

ワンコ同伴ルームへ宿泊（２ベッドの和室）でした。わんこ連れはホテルの裏側に入り口があり、リードのままで入室可能。一階部分に６部屋ほど有るよう。ペット同伴料金は2500円。まぁ普通でしょう。わんこグッズがトイレとシート・コロコロのみ。何もない処に比べればOKな方でしょうが…どうせワンコ専用ルーム作ったんだからもう少しサービス考えても良いと思う。 建物や部屋は古いですが、清掃面では大きな問題はないし、洗面所はリニューアルしたようで綺麗でした。ルームキーも２個 温泉もちょっとぬるっとした感じで気持ちよかった。 食事は地の物使った懐石。味は良いしボリュームも程よく、何と言ってもアルコール類の値段が安い。殆ど500～600円。これはほかにはない安さではないかと思った。 ウエルカムサービスも充実。ワインも飲み放題でシャトレーゼのケーキ食べれます。私は個人的にシャトレーゼのお菓子好きなので、嬉しいサービスでしたよ

現在この宿は、シャトレーゼホテル石和に生まれ変わっています。 施設はやや古めですが、清潔感も在り、サービスはとても充実しています。 １ ウェルカムケーキサービスがある ５時までにチェックインすれば、ウェルカムケーキサービスがあります。私が訪問したときは、いろいろな種類のケーキがあり、選べました。一緒にコーヒー等の飲み物もいただけました。 ２ アイス食べ放題サービスがある チェックインから夜１０時まで、シャトレーゼアイスが食べ放題です。普通にお店で売っているチョコバッキー等ありました。 お土産にシャトレーゼ製品を購入することも出来ます。アウトレットのバームクーヘンが８００円でした。従業員さんも感じがよい方が多く、廊下等で出会っても、挨拶をしてくださいます。朝食バイキングもたくさん種類がありました。 石和駅からも近いので、また利用してもいいかな、と思います。 マイナス１なのは、オートロックではないこと。そこだけちょっと不便でした。

シャトレーゼが買収してシャトレーゼホテル石和になっています。 料金は、以前からある温泉旅館やホテルと同じ価格帯ですが、内容は旧かんぽの宿（泊まったことはありません）levelだと思います。 無料で食べ放題のアイスキャンディーやウェルカムケーキなどがあり、子供連れにはいいかもしれませんが、大浴場・露天風呂・庭園などは、改装や改修をした気配が感じられず、他の旅館の大浴場・露天風呂・庭園よりかなり落ちていて、これがシャトレーゼホテルなのかと思いました。 山梨の食材を使用したという会席は、満足できるものでした。

幼少期から、かんぽの宿へよく行っていました。 かんぽの宿が無くなると聞き、母をどこかへ連れて行こうと... 母にどこへ行きたいかと聞くと、石和でした。 私自身は幼い頃のため記憶があまりありませんでしたが、母は記憶を思い返すように喜んでいました。 道の案内など丁寧にご対応して頂き、感謝申し上げます。 『かんぽの宿』が無くなるのは寂しいですが... 最後に親孝行ができ、良かったです。 ありがとうございました(^ ^)
