The Leeward Apartments by Lowkl

The apar**ent was in a pretty location with a nice court yard. The kitchen was stocked with pans and utensils and what we needed. The only issues was timely communication for entry passcode that we didn't receive until after messaging the property midday of the day we were to check in and there was no wifi password we could find posted in the property. We arrived at 10pm and couldn't get connected to wifi. We messaged and got a response the next morning but we were checking out by then. Also, the shower knob was broken so you couldn't adjust the temperature. We all took cold showers. If they fix the shower knob, post the wifi password on the wall and send you the passcode for entry then you won't have any issues. The place was clean and the couch folded out for the kids. We just stayed overnight one night before a cruise. Uber had no issue locating the property and we ordered an instacart order from Publix with no issue.

Every time you ask house keeping a question they tell you I don’t speak English and if you find one that does they won’t help you There was 3 people in our room and 2 bath towels one hand towel one wash cloth to use for 8 days and they won’t give you any more I had to go to target and buy baths towel towels and wash cloths and toilet paper Dish towels and baking pans The people upstairs from us were loud and partied until 1 2 in the morning There also was giant cockroach’s in our room so I had to go buy bug spray I will never stay here again The hot water you have to let run for 10 minutes to get warm and it’s yellow looking and you can’t get your money back because it’s non refundable 😡 The parking is not great

It was clean, but smaller than the pictures implied. The couch was stained in numerous areas and was extremely uncomfortable. The shower wasn't the greatest, took forever to get hot water.

The management, the communication and the location were perfect. The only thing was the bathroom was old and the bath was leaking. Also there wasnt alot of things ti cook qith in the kitchen

Place was super cute however there was a horrible cigarette smoke smell the entire time. I don’t know if it’s vented in or just from previous guests but it never went away and unfortunately was nasty. My door opened into neighbors door, literally we couldn’t open doors at the same time to leave they hit each other. Found that strange. Otherwise not a bad place for quick stop over, close to everything in area and nice neighborhood. Loved the decorating and everything was new, super cute place too bad it smelled like cigarettes.

The location is in a calm and quiet neibourghood. The appar**ent was clean. You need rules to get hot water which is not very hot. Lowkl gave us a very service. Answered our sms and calls. I would return.

The property manager was very quick in response. We mentioned about cigarette scent and we received pluggable air fresheners which was ok but it didn’t solve whoever was either smoking next door or below our unit. It was like a chimney at night. We opened the windows which helped but at night when that person comes home or decides to chain smoke, it was very unpleasant to stay in the unit. The living room, kitchen and bedroom were decent. The bathroom needs an upgrade! You can see they tried it with bathtub but it just needs to be replaced or turned into a shower. The toilet seat is not the right size. Overall, the area was a safe area. We would stay again if they fix the “chimney” problem and renovate the bathroom.

No actual enforced parking, and if/when there is an issue at the property, they don't actually send anyone out to check on it. They simply "report it" and expect the issue to resolve itself. I will never stay at any location that is managed by Lowkl ever again.

This is a very serviceable property, but not luxurious. Everything was clean; the beds were comfortable; the water was hot; the kitchen seemed well-stocked (we only used the fridge and coffee maker, but there were cooking utensils etc.). The furniture was plastic or vinyl and the living room area therefore was not very comfortable - but we didn't come to lounge around in the apar**ent. There were things like old towel brackets that were painted over in the bathroom, stains on the back of the bathroom door and wall - just seemed like it had recently been covered with a fresh coat of paint in an expedient way. The first day we were there, there was an unhappy seeming person who was evidently moving out of the small complex based on the mountain of stuff she had piled up in front of the gate when we left in the morning, but it was all gone by the time we got back in the evening. The neighborhood is nice and the building was quiet and the location is quite good. So again, the price was right and the apar**ent served our purpose very well.
