We spent two nights in this hotel in the category: Deluxe Studio. The hotel is 150 m from the train station to Bern. The train travels every 22 minutes to the city centre to the station/spatalgate for €14 per person. The deep garage places for €15 per day are large and there were no free parking available before the hotel. There was a card for the room available by self-checking. The air circulation in the flowers to the room and the air in the Deluxe studio was very ”distant”. Since the windows can be opened in the Deluxe studio, the air is quickly fresh again. The Deluxe studio has a size of 27 m2 and a lot of stuff in a large closet. The bed is comfortable with view of a large flat. The kitchen is well equipped, a small washing machine is also available. A desk is directly front of the window with gardens and outdoor roller shops. The price-performance ratio is met.

Spiez is a pretty town and this is a pretty hotel. We travelled as a family and had two adjacent rooms. Our purpose was to take part in the triathlon in Thun and it’s very hard to get hotel rooms so we were lucky and had the last two rooms, facing the street rather than the lake, but we could go to the roof terrace to relax and enjoy the view. It was quiet and comfortable, the food was very good (the owners are Italian and Swedish) and the staff are very friendly.

I took a single room with balcony. The tenant, apparently Indian, I would say, began to talk to me about the exchange between hotel key (because staff are not always there) and room key, through a system. The mattress was relatively hard, but, I like standard mattresses, it did not hurt my back at all; it was rather very comfortable. I liked the ecological notice that invited us to make the change of lingerie explicitly in the shower - even though it did not change much for me, since I stayed only a night. The balcony and its surroundings are pleasant and quiet; there is even a small river that makes like a calming music, and the birds sing in the evening and especially in the morning have been very pleasant. You can only regret that there are neither stores nor opaque courtesy on this side (the East); there were only translucid courtesy. For people who take several days and would like to make a morning fat, it can be awful - but not For me, because I stayed only one night, and I had to release the room for 10H30. The stay without reservation fee was only 1 franc. As I had booked directly at them, they offered me lunch! Ah, and the cook is a rocker, who has received no bad distinctions!

The Belvedere Strandhotel in Spiez was a great hotel for me and my husband during our time in the Interlaken region. Upon arrival, the hotel kindly sent a shuttle to pick us up at the train station, a true perk when you travel with luggage (the hotel is a 10 min walk from the train station). We loved the pool/spa areas, which were great for relaxing after a long day of hiking/tourism. The spa overlooks the lake and we even sat in the sauna while it rained to take in more of the view. The staff was friendly but there was a bit of a language barrier. We would have given the hotel 5 stars but the room was terribly hot and opening the windows would attract bugs (plus it didn't really help cool down the room). Otherwise, the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Located 2 km from the village of Zäziwil in the Emmen Valley, Hotel Appenberg offers rustically furnished rooms in 12 historic buildings. A restaurant can be found on site. Guests can play table tennis, use the ski and bicycle storage facilities. Free private parking is available at the Appenberg Hotel. Bern and Thun are 20 km away.

I couldn’t get a hotel in Bern for a 3 day business meeting so a friend recommended looking for a hotel in Thun, and I am glad I did. It’s a beautiful hotel by the lake with amazing landscape. I stayed on the second floor in the grand lit room. My view wasn’t the lake but it wasn’t bad either. The room is big, well lit by the sun with a small balcony. Thun is 20 minutes on the train from Bern and the hotel is not too far from Thun Station. On Bus number 1, it’s the second stop. The hotel gives complimentary travel ticket anywhere within Thun. My check in was like two seconds. The hotel is quiet and lovely. The rooms do not have air conditioning but with a hotel by the lake who needs air conditioning just crack open you window or balcony door. Small fans are available in the room. There is a central ironing room so don’t except to see and iron in your room The breakfast is very basic, nothing fantastic. It was a good experience for me and I highly recommend this hotel.

To be honest, the hotel is worth the price. It is a monument renovated in itself. There are still many people who come to visit. It is the commanding height of Tuen, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and the whole city. There are a few points of Ctrip and reviews that seem to be not mentioned: 1. Arriving at the hotel, you need to take the elevator or climb ten floors on foot. 2. Located in the center of the old city, it is not convenient to drag the suitcase. It is a stone road and uneven. I am single travel, the transportation is mainly train, so I am very tired to drag the suitcase to the neighborhood. I am stupid before the steps that can't see the end. I asked the local talents to know that the elevator from the nearby parking lot can be directly reached (-7 floor to 3 floor) breakfast is ordering. The menu is German, the waiter is old and not enthusiastic. It is best that you can eat bread without ordering. I ordered fried eggs, juice and coffee, cheese and stew with my mobile phone translation software. The dining environment is very good, suitable for net red photos. The room facilities are average, the things are well hidden, you have to find them carefully, but you can still stay for one night, the bed is soft.
