It is a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal to Sicily. The room is small, the shower is cramped, the bed and bedding are generally comfortable, and the breakfast and hot and cold drinking water facilities in the lobby are OK.

The hotel room was comfortable, but unfortunately, no natural light in the room,given it was on the ground floor.
Hot water from shower was not continuous, as it turned cold shortly after second person was having a shower.

I called the hotel because I lost my belongings at the hotel, but the person who answered the phone did not understand me and told me to email them.
Again nobody answered me even though I sent email through the official site, again, nobody answered me. I had to call them through the phone again.
Then they told me to contact them by SMS.
The person in charge said they would contact me within the next day, but still no one has contacted me, and I have not received any response to my confirmation SMS again.
I remember that I took the lost item with me as I used it at the hotel, so I am wondering why I cannot get a response at all.
And I feel that being ignored is the same as being disrespected, which I find very offensive and very sad.
Did they think that because I am an Asian woman that it was okay for them to behave this way?
Would they have responded differently if I were a scarier man with more authority?
The receptionist and staffs seemed very kind, I am very disappointed that I had to go through this.

Great hotel, just outside the city but easlier everything you need is in walking distance. Room was clean in good condition. Free breakfast was nice butnthere is also lots of bakeries and cafes nearby so I recommend you explore.

Spotlessly clean, very well located on the edge of the old town, friendly staff. Nice comfy room and fun basement pool. Would certainly recommend.

Staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The location was perfect to get to anywhere on malta island, as the bus stop is nearby. I used the pool once, it was a bit small and cold but a nice option to have. I dodnt use the jacuzzi as it closes at 8pm and I wasn't ever back in time - note, there is a 10 euro charge for 45 mins use.

The heater above the shower tray was installed inside the ceiling, but the remodelation work was not finished....you can see the inside of the roof

I completely enjoyed booking this hotel for my holiday. I booked the queen double room on the 4th floor with a nice view of Valletta. On arrival, discovered the hot water wasn't working. The staff promptly troubleshoot the issue while I explored Valletta. I returned and discovered the water heater had been changed all within 2 hours because it was totally broken. That was impressive.
Only thing I didn't like was the sheets weren't changed daily and the domestic could have been a bit more thorough. But hey, it's a boutique hotel not a 5 star resort.
All in all, decent place to book on a budget
