Hotels near Torre di Maratona in Florence

We visited Hu Camping because it had the services we wanted whilst being really close to Florence. Check In could not have gone any easier. Really polite staff. We asked to upgrade our mobile home but there were none available until the end of the week. So we didn't bother. We drive to our home and noticed it was clean and well maintained. There were people gardening, cleaning all the time. Got to the mobile home and things were not ideal, utensils missing and a ladder to the bunk bed. We went to reception to ask about the missing things and the majority of what we needed was sent to us within an hour with huge apologies. It was an older mobile home but it was clean and ready for us to put our feet up. Having two bathrooms was really good with a family of 5. It was 37°C outside and the air conditioning worked well. We took a fan with us so it moved the air around a bit more. But we left it on during the day, with the interior doors open and the rooms were nice and cool. We used the restaurant, the service was really good and they were busy. It's a good idea to book. We had booked for 9pm and a couple were ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, they asked for a table and were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes. The food was tasty and fresh. Not overly expensive, considering some places nearby or other European cities. We used both pools, the kids one was a little cold but my boys (8, 13, 15) didn't care. Around the pool was clean and well maintained, there was enough shade if needed and a lovely olive grove section away from the pool for lots of shade. The pool bar was well equipped and the staff were friendly. The main pool was busy but people still had space to throw a ball or jump in. It's not there for doing lengths. The onsite shop was fine, it's not big, so we used it when we had to, otherwise there was a decent sized Coop not too far from the site (driving distance). The other bits were good, bike hire (although get there early), laundry services were great, the volleyball/football pitch needs updating but it was fine. The location is just outside the city. There was a bus to the centre from the campsite but we didn't use it. We drove and parked in underground parking in the city. All very easy. I had preconceptions about how it was going to be but I was really surprised with how good it was. And the staff were really polite and helpful. I would happily go back to visit it again.

The hotel is located a short distance from the Santa Maria Novella station. With a short walk you reach the city center and in the immediate vicinity is the covered market where you can have lunch and dinner with typical Tuscan products. The room is simple, but extremely comfortable. The breakfast room allows you to have an excellent view of the dome of the church of San Lorenzo and the dome of the Cathedral. The sweet and savory breakfast is rich and abundant. Possibility to leave the luggage after the checkout time.

The room has a sense of design. Although it is not very big, it is very warm and comfortable. The only problem with this room type is that it is on the half floor and needs to go down a very narrow staircase. There are still several steps in the room. Big boxes are very unfriendly! The breakfast is still very good, you can sit outside and feel it.

The reason why I’m voting 3 stars is because I wasn’t able to take a decent shower due to the water being blocked and it starting to overflow to the ground after 5/6 minutes. You guys need to call a plumber as everything in the toilet is blocked. I went to the spa which I was really looking forward to, to then go into a “hot tub” that was freezing cold! The salt room was ice cold inside and the steam room wasn’t even steaming. That was disappointing. I did tell the receptionist about it and he said he’d call someone to come tomorrow morning to fix it. Considering my experience in the spa was horrible the decent thing staff could have given to me as gratitude is a free session. But I didn’t get any of that. Overall decent not a bad location considering there’s buses near by that takes you straight to city centre however PLEASE can the MANAGER call a plumber and fix those blocked showers.

Best Western Plus CHC Florence has the best, friendliest, kindest employees, probably in the world. The breakfast is excellent, a buffet with great variety and service. The rooms are comfortable, well stocked, and very clean. The area is lively and convenient, has lots of choices for transportation, dining, and many businesses. It's about 5 minutes from the airport by car, and 2 stops by public transportation My mom happened to have an emergency while we were staying at BW for vacation, which forced me to extend my stay for 19 days. Even though the hotel was full, front desk staff accommodated me, and helped me in every way they could with tips, directions, everything I needed. Employees from the restaurant even took me out to dinner on my birthday. I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

I think this is a hotel that is missing out on its appearance. You might think it's a strange hotel because of its very busy exterior. The interior is very clean and the hotel is very comfortable. The common space is large and there are vending machines, which is very convenient. The other guests have a high level of civility, and many of them are well-mannered and have common sense. You won't have to worry about unwanted guests. Hotels in central Florence can be extremely expensive. There are many facilities that are not worth the price. Personally, even if it takes a little more time to travel, I felt it would be better to start from this hotel.

The location of the room is good, in the urban area, the room can be considered as a big, very fine hotel! The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. Breakfast dining environment is also good! The layout of the room, a family of three 👨‍👩‍👧 will not be crowded when staying! The child's bed is on the other side of the room. Good space, three suitcases don't feel too crowded! The bathroom space is not small, the shower room is very interesting, it is flexible and retractable! The hotel's air conditioner is a bit hot, and the air conditioner is turned off, but I still feel a bit hot! Everything else is fine! Very cost-effective hotel.

This was my first hostel experience on my own and it was soooo good! I felt very safe, staff super friendly, the room and common areas had everything you could ever need! Locker in the room was huge... I had enough space to keep all my things safe, but you need to bring your own padlock (maybe the hostel could make that clear on the booking? although I was prepared, another lady in the room was not ;)). Location great, very close to station (but far enough away that it wasn't a problem....), very close to the sites, restaurants and bars. I would happily return to an Ostello Bello! Grazie

Great choice, the bus stop to the city is near, the personell was nice and polite, everything went smooth when I stayed here. I do recommend. Breakfest was also nice, the rooms were tidy and spacious, and my back enjoyed the bed, i did sleep very good.
