The truth is that the hotel and the restaurant lack a lot, they go from a 4-star hotel and they don't even reach the second. The bed is 20 years old and every time you move you can hear the springs. The breakfast, for €13.2 plus VAT, leaves a lot to be desired, not very complete and of poor quality. The temperature of the water in the shower varies a lot, if you want hot water you have it for 30 seconds yes, 2 seconds no. The restaurant also leaves a lot to be desired, you can't remove any ingredient from any dish since they are all pre-prepared and they just have to heat it up. And then get ready for the saber blow… I have paid less per person in Michelin restaurants.

The hotel is about 13 euros from the lively neighborhood of the seaside. If you are departing from the hotel, you need to ask the front desk to help you call the car. The cost of attaching the car is about 5 euros. Breakfast 12 euros / person, not much things, still exquisite. Underground parking is available for a fee, and on-street parking is free. Hotel prices are not expensive, the scenery is good. Rarely there is a Jinfu Chinese restaurant, which is a combination of Chinese and Western. Because this is a foreigner business, there are few Chinese. It tastes good and the price is too affordable.

I have always held the opinion that the standard red Ibis hotel room is OK for single occupancy, but is unsuitable for a couple, unless they are sharing a single suitcase. There is definitely insufficient space in a standard Ibis bathroom for a girl who usually wants to clutter every possible flat surface with cosmetics, shampoos, skin creams etc...etc... The situation could be improved if Ibis fitted some shelving to the walls in the bathroom and the bedroom. Since I was travelling solo and only stayed for 1 night, I did not need to unpack all my luggage, so the room was adequate. Check in and check out was smooth and uneventful. Everything in the room was clean and worked properly. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own designated on street parking spaces which are free for hotel guests. There is also additional free public parking, and a covered (payable) parking garage nearby. I will probably continue to use this hotel for 1 night stops.
