The rooms are quite decent and fully equipped. The mattress and pillows were comfortable and I had a great rest. The room was well soundproofed and no sound from the next room was heard. The staff is friendly and will ask if there is enough bottled water. The only thing I'm not used to is that the tea bar is located in a cupboard, and there are no lights inside, so it's dark and hard to see clearly.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Room was a very good size with some nice added extras. Enjoyed using the pool. The only slight disappointment was the location of my room on the lowest floor with opaque filmed windows. However I would be happy to return for another stay and would recommend it also based on its proximity to the station. They were also able to store my luggage at check in and check out

Location is great - close to tour busses and walking distance to the Royal Mile and nearby mall. Staff were very helpful and accommodating during our stay. Only downside was we tried to get room service and couldn't connect by phone so we ended up ordering at the restaurant. Definitely would stay here again.

Not greeted as vip, music far too loud in the lobby when the receptionist speaks so quietly so we didnt hear any of the information. We also booked as a stayover room the following day and the room still wasnt ready the check in at 1545

The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, especially on Christmas. The facility was comfortable and roomy, with lots of amazing extras like umbrellas to borrow in the lobby (those came in clutch!).

The APEX Hotel is ideally located near Edinburgh Waverly train station and the newly completed St James shopping mall.
The hotel was very welcoming with the staff doing their utmost to make us feel welcomed. Once checked in the room was a very good size and was very clean.
We didn't make use of the hotel meals during our stay and opted to eat out instead as there was a very good selection of cafes & restaurants available.
