Ramada by Wyndham Windsor Locks

I don't understand this hotel. It wants to be grand, and look to be renewing it's interior and rooms, but its grand lobby just look so sad and empty in its present state. I feel really sad for the operator. A concert was going on the day we stayed. It took a long time to check in. We were kindly given a room away from the loud concert. But this place really takes a lot of navigating to get to from the lobby, down some weird corridor space linking to annex of the building. No elevator. Very sad, cold breakfast. Middle of the night, drunk people knocking on our door talking nonsense. Last straw for Wyndham franchise for me; I have stayed at some great Wyndham places before, but it's just not synonymous to quality any more.

We had reservations for 11/- 11/5. We showed up on 11/3 hotel was closed. After many phone calls, the person said that they called me on 11/2 and left a message that the hotel was closed?? No email no anything else. No let me help you secure a new reservation. The manager was cold, no apathy. Had to spend double on new reservations.

Pros - No Bed Bugs, Cold AC, staff is good, the TV does have a good selection of channels but it’s not a smart TV Cons - Bathroom door got stuck and the swat team has to break it down every time you wanna open it, the front door lock didn’t work, the bathtub was kind of gross and had no stopper and a lot of mildew, the bed creaked a whole lot, the room we booked several months in advanced wasn’t actually available and we didn’t get a single dollar for getting put into a different room, the pool was peeling and kind of just old and needs renovation and when it rains it drips into the pool, the Wi-Fi barely works, shower stopped having hot water the last 2 days

The hotel was great. My only issue was the room was not that clean. The staff were great. The hotel is not far from the highway and near to a lot of places to eat and Shop. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Although there was a big wedding in the hotel, we stayed on the other side and had a good night sleep. The pool was open and my kids enjoy a lot.

I liked how the room was spacious n a couch n TV with lamp stand n coffee table ,and king bed was BIG only thing i didnt like was the pool should of been warmer😔

Had to request towels and toilet paper - staff was excellent - was a busy weekend - no maid service for my room

We stayed from a Friday to Sunday. The pool hours are great but the pool and the pool room itself was not heated. We shivered. I was in a hoodie and sweat pants while my kids shivered in the water. The ceiling over the pool was peeling badly. The walk from our room to the lobby was long which was inconvenient since we had a wheel chair. Also, there were no elevators! The rooms were decent and clean but there were areas that needed repairs if you looked close enough. Our room slider door was broken. The heater/ac did not work properly and the wall control didnt at all. The beds were uncomfortable. The rooms did not have coffee makers. The outside door to our hallway did not lock and felt unsafe. Other doors were propped open. Also, there was broken glass from shattered car windows all over the hotel parking lot. We were told there were multiple car break ins the night before. The phone didnt work to call the front desk. The freaking alarm clock was set and I didnt even think to check it. Also, the cream cheese at breakfast was sour from not being chilled. I kept calling it sour cream. I could not eat the bagel. All breakfast items were individually wrapped which I did appreciate. The hotel location was great. Target and Dunkin were very close. There was a lot of food options near us as well. We went to Browns Harvest and I definitely recommend!

Location is looking a little bit tired. Cleanliness not an issue everything mostly appears to be up to standards. Was just a little concerned that the entry door to the exterior did not require a card to enter. The room was equipped with mini fridge and microwave but had no coffee making equipment nor drinking glasses or plastic cups. A little disappointed in Wyndham .

Our room did not have toilet paper and not because of staffing issues check in took over 30 minutes, phone in room did not work as well alarm clock. We had reservations for two days and keys needed to be rescanned for access to the room for second day
