Radisson Hotel Hauppauge-Long Island

The hotel was clean, although there was a dance competition and it was noisy with young girls.

it was a nice experience for what it was worth

The property needs some updating and the smell in elevator was overwhelming. Carpet in rooms had burns everywhere and door keys dont work great.

Unfortunately my husband and I would never give a poor review. However, The staff was the only thing good about this hotel. We checked in Friday morning, went to the room which was 83 degrees. We attempted to lower it. We left for our appointment and returned about back at approx. 9:30. The temp in the room still at 83 degrees. We notified front desk who security & maintenance. Could not be fixed. Gave us another room. This room had bathroom sink water backed up as you used it. In the am we could not shower because shower handle was so stuck we couldn't move it. We washed and got out of there quickly. Must say it appeared to me like the "Hotel California".

thing works! The T.V. has very few channels. The ones that did work were fuzzy. The ice machine was broken. The vending machine didnt work the bar, and resteraunt was never open. You have to leave the hotel for everything. I'll never come back, and WILL let all of my business associates know that this place os the worst!. Go to the Holiday Inn across the freeway. I travel to NY weekly for work.womachin

The room was horrible. Smells moldy, no towels, had to go to lobby to clean ones, the drop ceiling was out of place, the fridge was missing from the room, the closet was old and smelly, the bed sheet had stains, (blood stains) the carpet had large black stains as well, the lobby was leaking water and they had buckets to catch it. Lobby smelled as well moldy!!! The hallway to the room smelled like there was a smoking lounge.

The hotel seems to have good structure but been quite neglected. The bathroom had a leaky faucet and mold around the tub. In fact, there was a leak in the lobby of the hotel. The TV was old with bad connection. Moreover, the hotel seemed to be understaffed.

Positives: the fitness center was decent (even though half the machines were broken and limited weights), the beds were comfortable, and the location was good for our purposes (within close proximity to SUSA ORLIN SOCCER COMPLEX). Cons: Check in was a mess. We were given the wrong type of room key for the room, had to return back to wait for correct key card and then discovered that only 1 worked so had to return back to get another correct one. Once we were in the room, the TV was programmed incorrectly and only got Spanish channels. Maintenance guy was nice though and tried to fix it but couldn’t so they agreed to change our room. Again we’re given the wrong key cards. The new room had no ventilation in bathroom so when we took showers the ceiling got water and then would drip on the floor. Also no lightbulb in overhead light. Pool area was cold and the whirlpool had no water. The hotel had a weird musty smell like cigarettes. There were buckets all over because the roof was leaking water. It was comical. Toiletries in bathroom were a joke. There was 1 tiny bar of soap and no shower gel. Coffee machine was missing parts so couldn’t use it. If you simply need a place to rest your head and don’t want to break the bank it’s fine for just a night but personally I will not return.

I was allowed to check in early so that was a plus. The room was okay, nothing crazy about it. I started sneezing and my eyes started watering shortly after being in the room. After inspection, I found black mold on the air vent. Additionally, the lotion bottle that was located in the bathroom was already used.
