Formerly known as Dunhe Hotel, this still offers good accommodation for its guests. Comfortable bed, responsive hot water, toiletries supplied as are good quality towels and floor mat Free laundry on 5th floor is very useful. Represents excellent value for money.

This hotel accepts foreigners. Location is not far from Dunhuang night market. Reception is nice and welcoming although they did not speak english. Translation app will do just fine. 100rmb deposit at check-in and they will give you back at check-out if everything is fine. Room is small, quite old and basic. Smoking is allowed inside hotel floors so it felt really suffocationg. The faucet in the bathroom did not give hot water, only the shower did. The only thing I don’t like is the AC (also heater) emitted kind of a burning smell which made the room suffocated. I turned on for a while and turned off in order to sleep safely.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is ideally situated to explore Dunhuang and its surrounding areas. The staff was polite and helpful.

I booked two rooms, one of which had a bathroom door that couldn't be closed. I contacted the front desk, but they didn't mention changing rooms at first. Instead, they asked me what the impact would be on me. Isn't it ridiculous? After they changed my room, the bathroom door on my bed couldn't be closed! The experience is extremely bad.
