Homewood Suites by Hilton Columbus-Dublin

Staff was fantastic, very helpful, brought us extra coffee for our room when requested, super accommodating. Lovely, quiet area. Very happy with our stay!

The beds are not queen size beds as the property states that they have, they are double beds. The appliances are older with the dishwasher being extremely loud and the fridge was hot and did not even work. The staff was very friendly.

Check in was terrible! I made this reservation months ago, to be told I didn't have a room....the clerk was rude and very mouthy. It was finally cleared up and I got my room....but that was a horrible first impression for a Hilton Honors member....

The hotel stay was fine as we were not in the property for most of the stay. There were small ants in the room, the room had a funny smell that lingered, the carpet and tile was very dirty and the room was in the first floor with windows that actually opened to the outside and there was a huge slit in the screen.

I decided to book a room at this property because they had a two room handicap accessible suite avaible. We were attending an event with some friends and wanted the extra room and privacy. The room was in ok shape but there were a couple of things I wished I knew about the room before hand as I would have went somewhere else. The beds for one were just full size and made sleeping rather uncomfortable with to full sized adults. Second the handicap accessible room did not have a door so no privacy at all. I think I over paid and while there my truck was broken into in their parking lot.

Staff was nice but the room wasn't anything to get excited about. The microwave didn't work, and we went and bought our own blankets because the bedding in the room was dirty and covered in hair. We only ate the breakfast they offer once because it was so bad i threw it away. We showed up to the breakfast 5min after it opened and the food was already cold and stale. pretty sure it was left over from the day before.

Not nice decor or vibe or accommodating to business travelers No business printer or anything for business workers. Not at all like other Hilton’s. Won’t stay again. Lesson learned.

The front desk staff was a bit off putting. We asked if it was possible to check in early (around 1:30) and she was very curt, saying she wouldn’t have anything ready until at least 3p. Which is official check in time, I totally understand, but it was the way she said it. She also made a comment about the fact that we booked the room through a third party and seemed annoyed. Again, it was the way she said it, almost like she was blaming us. The room was not super clean, there was dust and random smudges on many of the table tops, there was mold on the vinyl panels in the shower and the refrigerator was dirty on the outside. The sleeper sofa was a bit gross and overall, it could have been A LOT cleaner.

Our room was very spacious but it also had an odor. There was hair all over the curtains and stains all over the bed sheets. The bed was like sleeping on the hard ground and the pull out bed was rough itself. We ended up leaving and losing 193.00 and drove back home. I had asked the lady at the front desk about changing rooms because of the beds and was told that we couldn’t. we also had to ask for more towels due to only being enough for 1 person. overall we were very disappointed in this hotel for the price that we had paid.
