A fairly new building in a non-descript backstreet very close to the city centre. Parking looks like it might be a problem, but I was cycling so it didn't affect me personally. I always head for a Premier Inn, when cycling, as being able to take your bike into your room gives peace of mind in these days of rampant cycle theft. The room was up to the usual PI standard with comfortable beds and OK free wi-fi. The staff were very helpful and friendly, without exception, and a special mention for Judy (chef), Shanice and Georgia who were all excellent! My only gripe is that the the bathroom had a fixed shower-head over the bath. This isn't unusual in PIs, but it makes showering something of a scary experience for those of us of advancing age and with impaired balance. I don't feel justified in asking for an 'accessible' room, yet, but a simple grab-handle on the wall would make such a difference to the safety of the shower setup.
