We had a wonderful stay here, a stop off on our travels to Devon. We were warmly welcomed by Syed the manager and quickly settled on the beautiful terrace with a glass of wine, the view is a 10/10. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a very generous welcome pack! We had dinner and it was delicious home cooked food, one of the best curries I have ever eaten! We will definitely be returning and look forward to see how the hotel evolves as the owners have only been there for 2 years. The hotel has character and charm and stunning views, would definitely recommend.

Perfect stay! Beautiful location with a 5 minute walk to the beach! Quiet, cozy hotel with incredible views! Food and drink was amazing for breakfast and dinner! We will definitely be back and some of our family are also looking to book a weekend away here after we've told them how lovely it was!

This hotel is a hidden gem, down a small road. The manager and his team are to be congratulated on a hotel that has the charm that larger hotels lack. The food was of such superb quality that you won't want to eat anywhere else. The chef is a star. All the staff are all pushing in the right direction, friendly, attentive without being overly so. I will be back. This is a place to escape to. A boutique hotel in all but name.

My friend and I recently stayed at this quiet friendly hotel with each having a double bed in our good sized room. My first room was pleasantly refurbished but the aspect from the window was spoiled by a noisy extractor fan and large pine tree. The manager with no trouble changed my room with an older room but with a delightful rural view and comfortable bed. I cannot fault the happy and helpful staff, the cleanliness or food. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful, out of the way, relaxing break. A hidden gem!

This hotel is ideally situated for touring the area around Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis, and is full of Edwardian charm. We were warmly received by Abbie who made us feel welcome right from the start of our 3 night visit. Our room was very clean and serviced each day and although on the ground floor we had an undisturbed sleep in the very comfortable beds. On our first evening we dined in the restaurant and had a very enjoyable meal capped with a birthday surprise cake and all the staff singing Happy Birthday - this was much appreciated. The breakfasts were excellent and were able to be enjoyed in the restaurant providing lovely panoramic views. Throughout our stay the staff were always cheerful and ready to deal with any queries we may have had. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel which provides a haven of peace and tranquility. It is obvious that the management are going out of their way to provide guests with a highly enjoyable stay.

Can’t recommend this place enough! It was so good we went back for another meal the next night as we were camping nearby. Friendly, welcoming staff, breathtaking views and delicious food (and kids meals) of very high quality; all very reasonably priced. A peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, what’s not to love?! We’ll be back again soon!!

An unspoilt, tranquil setting with views out to sea and towards Thorncombe Beacon. The public rooms are spacious, bright and relaxing, even though the exterior, at first glance, seems a little plain. We stayed in the junior suite which had a veranda with steamers and hot tub. Room style 'shabby chic' with vintage furniture. The lovely staff are focused on making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. I was celebrating my birthday and they really made it a special and memorable experience. Bubbly in the hot tub, overlooking the sea (bliss) was just one example! Thank you so much. Food: the chef is clearly very competent; quality ingredients used, and the meals delicious. There is a wide choice of hot options at breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely friendly staff - we felt very welcome. Great location, near the beach that we could walk to. Lovely breakfast - both continental and cooked, with a good menu. The room was beautifully decorated - art deco style, with lovely views. Highly recommend.

A lovely hotel tucked away in the beautiful village of Eype. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely view of the sea from our bedroom and enjoyed the welcome cake and note left for us!! The only thing I would say as a negative is the lunchtime menu could have had more choice, maybe with sandwiches or snacks. Having said that we had whitebait and risotto balls which were delicious. The location was perfect as it was a short walk to Eype beach and about 30 minutes over the cliffs to West Bay with stunning views.
