Adults Only, Royalton Chic Antigua

Service was extremely pleasant with lots of young enthusiastic staff willing to help guests. The renovated rooms are spacious and well equipped. The showers are a little small in size. The food was excellent quality and a wide variety. It was excellent to see lots of local food varieties including in the menu. We really enjoyed this.

The vibe team was excellent 🎉 we had a lot of fun partying with them 👍🏼they were helpful and fun. They selected great songs to compliment the day. This is a party resort so it’s a lot of partying and dancing which we enjoyed greatly. The drinks was great as well the food can be improved in some restaurants however the overall atmosphere was nice and all staff was kind and helpful.

I had the best time . The vibes team 💯🥳and overall staff made us feel like royalty. The food was also wonderful especially the hunter steak house. The foam party was a vibe 💯💯💯 The bartenders were also very knowledgable. The beach also was great.

Royalton Chic Antigua is a stunning resort. Walking on the beach the side facing the ocean is the best one on the *****. Food is good in all restaurants with improvements made as the week progressed. Chicken wings at the food truck are a must try but not available on all days . Beach is very nice but a bit murky on some days. Water temperature is perfect! Staff is professional and super friendly and Vibe team especially the three brothers, Timothy (my favourite) Devon and Keith a blast. Nightly shows are great and very entertaining. Sports bar is fun to visit after 11:00 for snacks music and dancing. Special thank you to Tavia who took care of every request and made this trip so special. She is the resorts greatest asset and makes you feel like family instead of a guest!

From the moment I entered the facility, the service was exemplar. The security was tight and explained exactly why they had to check my vehicle entering the premises. I liked the way I was asked ‘May I check your vehicle, please, rather than saying with a command , I have to or I need to check your vehicle before entering the premises. Just before checking in I had to take a work call. After completing the call I was amazed how the Ms Nikita and Ms Vanessa called me by name and said welcome with the most inviting smiles, charm and diligence. Both ladies made sure I was duly checked in and took their time to explain the resort to me. I was amazed too how they knew it was me before introducing myself to them. Thank you Ms Black. You are exceptional. I had lunch at Haven Grill and while the food was really good, the service was beyond expectations. I could not even drop a fork by accident before someone was there with a replacement. My server was impeccable and had the most gorgeous smile. She was pleasant and polite and seems really honest. I told her she needs to be the Smile Ambassador for the resort and be moved from the Haven Grill restaurant. I can’t remember her name but a big shout out to my server with braces. Thank you wholeheartedly. When I thought it could not get any better here comes Tramain to assist me not with a maintenance issue but as I was kinda lost, he took his time to explain the resort restaurant options to me. He even went on to explained the different options and even asked my likes. Way to go , Tramain. Later I did get a call from Ms Black and Tramain asking if I am well and if there is anything I needed. This is what I call service and well deserving of 5 stars. At the Olympus restaurant I saw there was Um Ali on the menu. I explained to my server, Sherma that I have eaten this all over the Mediterranean and it must have raisins. She explained that it didn’t have raisins but went beyond to ensure I had raisins with my Um Ali. I can say that this server, Sherma checked on me ever so often to make sure that the food was to my liking and kept my glasses filled. I have stayed a Royalton Antigua 4 times but this service at the ‘Chic’ stands above Royalton Antigua. As I was still relaxing at the Olympus here come Ms. Nekesha inquiry about my stay and if there is anything that she can do to make my experience worthwhile. I told her I am just here to relax after being so busy with SIDS4 and I just wanted peace, relaxation and good room service but as the rooms service menu was limited maybe she can sort out my service for tomorrow morning. She then took my order and promised my order will be ready tomorrow at 8am as requested. Keep this up and I will make Royalton Chic my only option while staying in Antigua. Overall my stay at the Royalton CHIC Antigua was outstanding! The resort was well run with friendly professional staff and customer service was the best. Everyone was approachable, and easy to talk to with a pleasant demeanor. The food at the Caribbean and Pescari restaurants was second-to-none and the staff and chef at Pescari exceeded expectations. Nightly entertainment and use of the gym and the spa made my stay even more memorable. The staff at the gym were friendly, knowledgeable and were helpful with setting up equipment and working out. Personal trainer Elvis was on point. Finally, the spa is one of the best with attentive professional valets ( thanks Shermyer Joseph), and a relaxing atmosphere including the saunas, pools and ice-bucket showers. Good job Royalton CHIC Antigua. Will be back soon.

My overall experience with royalton adults only chic Antigua will get a 10/10 review, but I must warn if it wasn’t for the vibes, staff members, and overall feeling at the resort they would have scored much lower. Before I get into this review, I want to give special shoutouts to guest services manager Makeba, front desk receptionist Yaskee, bellboy supervisor Dwight, bell boy Samien, pool bar Joshua, Excite bartender Damyon, pool bar Lashawn, lifeguard Anthony, DJ Berroa, supervisor Jean, vibe team members Nadia, Kalique, Keithroy, and waitress Unique. You all are the reason why this review gets a 10/10. You are the reason why we want to plan a trip back to Antigua. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all for your kindness, generosity, support, suggestions, and most importantly for overextending yourself for our satisfaction. Without all of your tenacity and gracious hearts, I’m not sure Royalton would score well, be considered as a destination again, or receive the standing ovation we will continue to give on its behalf. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a cold towel and mimosas, which is really helpful for the almost heatwave temperature you experience. You are helped by some of the friendliest front desk people I have ever met. I had the pleasure of meeting Makeba, who I had been in email contact with to coordinate birthday decor for the two birthdays we were celebrating on our trip. Additionally, Vaness and Yaskee helped facilitate my check in with the help of an amazing manager Jose. Personally, I recommend having Jose assist should there be any complications with checking in. Unfortunately, check-in was made extremely complicated by the miscommunication and contradictory instructions between the reservations team by email versus the female manager who was present after Jose’s departure. Thank you so much Rafael Rodriguez( Royalton Dominican Republic) for assisting with the planning and facilitation of this trip. Rafael and I communicated over email prior to my arrival and even after reaching the hotel. You were amazing and so helpful. However, I would have liked the same service I received over email to be translated by the female manager who was facilitating my check-in. I wished she would have had a better understanding of the situation at hand and see how frustrating it was to deal with contradictory statements between the management helping me with my reservation vs her onsite responses. Once check in was solved, we made our way to rooms. We were assisted by Dwight and Samien, they gave us the full rundown of the resort. What to dos, what not to do, and how to best capitalize on our trip. They both continued to check on us frequently throughout our trip making sure everything was going well. The rooms were to die for. The beds were super comfy and housekeeping was extremely attentive. Thank you Cuba and (young Guyanese man) for constantly making sure our mini fridge was packed. We spent a week at this beautiful new resort and had a fabulous time! The beach is simply stunning. Plenty of beach chairs with umbrellas. Pool was also nice, although this is not where we spent our time. With the resort only in its third week of being open, we did hear complaints about service and food quality. However, it seems like many of these kinks had been worked out by the time of our stay, because we found the food and service to be excellent. The staff are learning and service is improving daily, from what I can tell. They are all so warm and friendly, and everyone is trying so hard to make things perfect for the guests. Excellent servers included Jasmine, Rika, and Melissa. Bartenders Mauricia, Estella, and Delisha were awesome! The Vibe team kept things fun and they remember all of the names of the guests they meet! Devon, Nadia, Kiania, Kalique, and Keithroy keep the party going!
