We just back to Thailand from Maldives trip. It’s amazing trip ever. We contacted the hotel few months before and got helpful infomation so we can plan it properly and transfer go and back airport-Gilhi. Everything was so easy for us. Thank you Ali for his help and the staffs at Tropic Tree who help us on the island and they gave us more info even where to see sharks atnight near the hotel and that was our first experience being very close to the sharks. We went fishing it was fun and all fish we got the hotel staffs grilled for us. Hope to visit Gulhi again and sure we will stay at Tropic Tree where we feel like home.

Friendly staffs with warm welcome. We stayed 2 nights there in 2 neat and clean rooms. Everything easy even for our 5 yeared-old son. We booked speedboat with the hotel and everything was wonderful. It’s located on walking distance to bikini beach. Food at the hotel also very nice.

Our stay here was fantastic. The room was stunning and the service was some of the best we have ever received. Nothing was too much for the staff. We received a lovely welcome drink and got fruit platter brought to our room on the first and last day of our trip. Everything was wonderfully clean and they let us use their snorkels for free.

Our stay at Tropic Tree, Gulhi, was excellent. The location was good, and the staff was very kind and accommodating. The service was also the best it could be. The day of our arrival we received fresh juice at the counter and then 30 minutes later we had fresh fruit delivered to our room by the staff. It is truly worth to stay at Tropic Tree, Gulhi, Maldives.

Stayed for a night.. A night to remember at this beautiful resort.. Excellent staff and owne Mr Ali made sure that our basic need were met. The food was awesome... The a**osphere of the island and the setting of the hotel go hand in hand.

Overall it was a nice experience at Tropic Tree at Gulhi Island. The staff is very helpful and also the processing for PCR tests and other traveling requirement was good. It will be good to have some more varieties of food specially for Indian subcontinent guests. Special thanks for Suhail, Ali & sons!

Envy of the idyllic reviews I read. Only guest in the hotel, no one at the port, no excursions, no suggestions, no hot water, very severe wifi problems, it is necessary to use that of another hotel, incorrectness in charging the price for dinner so much so that disgusted, I gave up on the paid breakfast and ate it outside. It cannot be expected that a very young Bangladeshi can manage the disused structure because in the low season, I advise the owners to close in such periods, thus losing image and reputation. Better upper floors (I omit photos of unworthy glass, out of modesty) but steep ramps, rather far from bikini beach, especially when the sun is shining. Avoid coming as a couple or individually, perhaps in a group it will be better. Ask at the hotel to contact the person who organizes from Italy, if you really want to hurt yourself and come and good luck

Lived together with my wife from December 26, 2022 to January 1, 2023. Very warm welcome - Aiham and Sohel were very helpful throughout our stay at the hotel and on the island, loved it! We checked into the best room in this hotel on the fourth floor - on the roof terrace overlooking the island. The hotel has its own speedboat for meetings, trips, excursions. It’s better to take a full day excursion at the hotel - it’s interesting, I really liked the experience of swimming with reef sharks. The island is small, but I found it more interesting to be among the local population than to be at a closed, expensive resort resort. We also went to the VADOO resort for the whole day on a separate excursion, but on the island it was somehow a little less boring among the local population. On the beach of Gulhi Island, if you do snorkeling, the walk/swim to the reef is quite far. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip; there are several decent cafes on Gulhi Island to eat at. The hotel has only one minus - sun loungers on the beach from the hotel, this is something lame, I had to rent sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach.
