Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa

There can't be a better place to stay in the Delray/Boca area. From the spectacular facility - inside and out, to the direct access to a beautiful beach, the short walk to fine restaurants, and an easy shuttle ride to all that "the Avenue" has to offer, I don't know why anyone would stay anyplace else. My wife and I have stayed at the Opal (including when it was the Marriott) for at least eight years. I can't imagine why we'd even consider staying elsewhere. Did I mention the wonderful staff? At the pool, at the front desk, at the outdoor bar, at the restaurants.........................

My daughter was getting married nearby. All of guests stayed at the Opal Grand. All the amenities were spectacular: Pools, Spa, Monkey Bar, Food. Absolutely gorgeous! We had a Welcome Party on Friday night. The staff couldn't be more attentive! If you were finishing a drink or bite of food, they were right there to bring another. Valet car and bellhop service were exceptional. Always smiling and very helpful. Love Love this place! Proximity to everything great: across the street from the beach and walking distance to fabulous restaurants and shops. Great resort overall. Super friendly staff, lots to eat at different restaurants. Beach is a quick walk across the street, pool area was nice as well. Decor and vibe felt luxurious but beachy. LOVED it. This is my second stay and can't wait to go back.

I just wanted to give a shout out to team Opal Grand! This was our 3rd visit in less than a year and a half. We just love it here!! Thank you Julia for always accommodating, our special requests. It’s because of you and your professionalism that we keep returning. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay while visiting downtown Delray, you must stay at the Opal. One of our favorite restaurants is the Drift right on site. We also love the ladies at the monkey bar! Thanks, Jodi for keeping us laughing! We are hoping to be back in early November. I originally planned this trip for two couples at another nearby hotel. Upon arrival, it was disclosed that the property was under renovation and many amenities were unavailable. We quickly canceled and were rebooked at the Opal Grand. Andrew welcomed us with kind and efficient service at lobby check-in. Our king suite rooms were ready when we arrived (early!) We enjoyed beautiful days at the pool where Ashley was attentive and great to talk to! The Beach Mart was a great place to start each morning. Drift offers amazing cocktails and we also enjoyed lunch before checking out. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and a kind word. I have stayed at the Opal Grand several times, the most recent being March 2024. I thought for this trip I would try something different. Lesson learned. The Opal Grand should always be the first choice for a trip to Delray!

My over-all experience of the resort was great. I went for a quick friends trip, just to relax, & that we just did. The resort is probably one of the cleanest that I have visited. The amenities including restaurants & coffee shop were great to get you through the day. The pool staff was attentive & friendly. The poolside service drinks & food were also great. Their blackened chicken Cesar salad was my fav along with the blueberry mojito. The rooms were modern & cleaned for us daily by the time we got back from the pool. Kudos to the housekeeping staff keeping the rooms so clean. The resort is a quick golf cart/cab ride to Atlantic Avenue. It's a great family friendly resort that I look to visit in the near future with my family.

I have to give the biggest shoutout to Imre! He really is the face of the Opal Grand in my opinion. He remembered all of our names, and we truly had the best first impression because of him! So polite, welcoming, upbeat, funny, he is the total package of someone you would want greeting you upon arrival!

What can I say? The resort is so well-kept, and the staff was outstanding. The food, drinks, and pool area were excellent, making it so we really had no need to leave the grounds. Michael at the front desk was very attentive and made sure our stay was the best it could be. We probably drove him crazy because we asked him for advice on everything we needed. He provided great suggestions for both within the hotel and when we were off-site. Michael even check on us at the pool to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. At the pool, Dan and Sonia were All-Stars! Dan made sure our chairs and umbrellas were set up, provided us with ice-cold water, and checked on us every time he walked by. Sonia, always with a smile, kept the drinks flowing and made some great poolside food suggestions. Before we even got home, we were making plans to return and bring friends next time. The Opal Grand Resort is absolutely beautiful! From the minute you pull up the valet personnel are so welcoming and attentive. Then you walk in to a fabulous entryway and the most pleasing aroma. Michael, at the front desk was so friendly, knowledgeable and beyond helpful to us. I called Michael at the for a minor AC issue in our room and within 5 minutes a very friendly employee from engineering was there to make the repair. The restaurants, the pool, the valet and front desk staff, all top notch!
