Booked for afternoon tea using a voucher we had received as a gift. After arriving earlier in the day to enjoy a walk along the coast, we were warmly welcomed at Reception and immediately shown to our table. The view across the lawns to the estuary beyond was glorious and the afternoon tea was perfect - fresh sandwiches (no crusts!), fluffy warm scones and three delicious cakes garnished with fresh strawberries. Our waiter was attentive and arranged for a takeaway box for the goodies we had leftover! Thanks for a super afternoon - we'll be back!

First stayed at Langstone Cliff 48 years ago, making friends with three other families and making annual reunions with growing children. The four families still meet up at the Langstone Cliff even though we are all now retired. It is a family friendly hotel owned by the Rogers family. Our latest stay was as enjoyable as all the others.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Langstone Cliff Hotel. Our room with balcony was very comfortable and well appointed. The hotel operation has clearly been honed over many years of family ownership and it shows - everything seems to run like clockwork. In particular the dining room arrangements work very well and the food is very pleasant too and excellent value. The staff are without exception friendly and efficient - this makes such a difference! All in all a nice change from soulless chain hotels.

Called here for Sunday lunch as it is open to non residents. A lovely hotel in a splendid setting. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. What more could you ask? Reasonably priced as well. Whenever we are down Dawlish way, this will be a must.

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were visiting an elderly relative living locally and the stay here made the trip very enjoyable. We had a balcony room with sea views which was very nice.

Excellent location, and plenty of lounges. Lovely garden. The hotel falls down on a poor quality and not cheap bar menu and the set evening buffet was below par and not a good idea. Breakfasts were however excellent. We almost lost our train connection as no taxis were available on a Sunday. Not the hotels fault but no warning that it’s not easy to get one on demand. And too far to walk. Staff all helpful.

Just spent a fabulous few days at this hotel with The Nissan Figaro club . We stayed Monday to Friday. The hotel was perfect for a large group plus cars, the room we stayed was spacious with a modern bathroom. We had breakfast and evening meals always very good choices and the food was lovely, what makes this hotel so good is the amazing staff, we were made to feel so welcome, and everyone one was lovely. Really can't wait to go back again

My now Husband & I got married here on 23rd March 2024, most of our guest stayed here for the weekend and they were very accommodating. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, tidy and have everything that you may need on a night away or longer. The wedding itself was amazing and very organised, Louise helped so much throughout the whole process of have the ceremony & reception at the Hotel. The food was amazing and plenty of it, everyone was complimenting the food we had which was a ‘Hot & Cold Buffet’ we had Chicken Tikka Masala & Vegetable Lasagna. We had the best weekend here and felt so comfortable sit relaxing in the lounge’s catching up with everyone. I highly recommend if your looking for a family friendly wedding venue this is definitely the place for you.
