I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

Good location, 15 minutes walk from the beach, even in CBD, the service staff are very warm and polite, the breakfast is very good, the 360-degree restaurant on the top floor is still a bit poor from other introductions, the overall hardware is similar to the domestic express hotel, After the first day I entered the door, I suspected that I was wrong. The small lobby, the front desk of a service staff, and the domestic holiday are not comparable. There are many hotels around, and I only know that the other is not as good as this (there is a five-star next to it, the price is doubled).

The location is very good, a five-minute drive from the ferry port of Zanzibar Island. There is a Chinese restaurant downstairs, which tastes good and the price is moderate.

I have been ordering cakes for various celebrations and it has always been an awesome experience with friends and families enjoying the cakes. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Chef Pankaj who recently made the doll cake for my little princess just the way I wanted and making it very special for her. The taste was absolutely awesome too. I have never gone wrong ordering cakes from Four Points and highly recommend. One of the best cake place in town. The hospitality and customer care at the reception is also very friendly and cooperative.

Perfect location, young and friendly staff and the terrace with a pool it's just a perfect spot to relax after a long working day. In addition, the chef is probably one of the best in town with the ability to create new food experiences.

We had a great, spacious room. Upkeep was perfect at this hotel, it looked brand new. Our bed was comfortable. We had a Jacuzzi room, it was perfect and we could see the TV while sitting in the hot tub. We liked that! It was a quiet hotel and we slept great! The continental breakfast was also very good. We found the front desk to be friendly and helpful as well.

The room was clean, clean linens. The room has a TV. The bathroom is clean, the plumbing is new, there is hot water. From the port 20 minutes walk. There is a KFC nearby.

Nice stay, good breakfast ,excellent wifi ,3 to 5 minutes walking distance ferry port and city centre. In side restaurant I have tried veg and non vag both prepared by local chef it was excellent service. Management also very supportive. Clean ,good rooms with small balcony. Enjoyed my stay ,next time will come with our family.

Everything else is good, the location is invincible, in front of you is the beautiful view of the port! The facilities are relatively new and easy to enter and exit. Especially the pork ribs on the 8th floor are the best ever! There is a problem with the bathroom service. I asked for a toothbrush 3 times before giving it, and I only gave one if I asked for two! The bath towels were gone after the first day of use! Disposable slippers are also used for the first time and will not be replaced with new ones! One time becomes permanent! Another disadvantage is that the wifi speed is too slow, and the blue clock displayed under the TV is too dazzling.
