To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

An overall good hotel though large, meaning some areas were crowded—for example the restaurant at breakfast, or the pool. The rooms were nice if not particularly unique, certainly with the feel of a large big-brand hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice location with good views. When I arrived I was rather surprised that the room I was given did not match the floor location or even design of the rooms shown on the app. At first I did not mind too much as the room, while located on the first floor, was longer with a separate sitting area and had a large window by the bed. Plus, it was late. The bed was comfortable, so I slept quite well. First 3 photos are of the first room. My experience quickly soured when I woke up the next morning to see people right outside the window exercising on a street nearby and there I was lying in bed in full view of them. I had no intention of being put on display like a zoo animal behind a wall of glass, and yet there I was! That…was awkward. It took the front desk two different calls from the Trip.com personnel (and the first call I was told I can go up front for my new room only to be told I needed to wait till a shift change) to finally get them to move me to a different room with a better view. And worse, the management kept asking me if I wanted to rebook to a more expensive room. Excuse me? Just put me in a room matching what I selected and paid for! The new room was smaller, but the view was far, far better (of the city and no random observants). Unfortunately it was also clearly recently vacated by a smoker, everything smelled, and there’s mold on the corner! Anyway, the last photos are of the replacement room. All in all. The location is decent, but this hotel has terrible management planning.

Room is very clean. Beds very comfortable. Lots of restaurants within 5-7 minute walk. Tram, buses and subway that all run downtown are nearby. In this price range the hotel offers great value. The only thing that I didn't like is the glazed glass wall on side of bathroom.
