Nanshan Garden Hotel

The room is quite big and the bathtub is very good! Breakfast is 60 yuan, but there are not many choices and the cost performance is not high. The swimming pool is charged separately but I didn't go there.

Located in Nanshan, a traditional high-end residential area in Dalian, the botanical garden and the children's park are within a few minutes' walk. The hotel was built in the 1980s. At that time, it was cheap, so a large piece of land was enclosed. It is the only garden-style hotel in the center of Dalian. The parking lot is so huge that many parents park their cars in the nearby schools when picking up their children after school. The guest rooms are not small, but the decoration design is relatively outdated. The washbasin and shower room do not drain smoothly, and the faucet opening method is opposite to that of most hotels, which requires adaptation. The rooms on non-smoking floors also have a very light smell of smoke, and the pillows are not elastic and collapse after sleeping for a while. It may be because of the off-season that there are fewer breakfast varieties. The advantage is that there are fewer guests and the rooms are very quiet. Tourists who like tranquility are recommended to choose here, and the surrounding blocks are also worth a walk.

The environment here is beautiful, the room facilities are complete, the service is particularly considerate, and the front desk service is superb. It is the first choice for tourist accommodation in Dalian!

I stayed in a room in the new building. The room was OK, but it was still a little bit worse than the five-star hotel in terms of details. Can you take some new pictures? Don't hang such old pictures. The balcony and lawn in the picture are not there. It is called a garden hotel, but in fact there are not many garden landscapes to enjoy. The breakfast is OK, not simple, but there are few varieties of drinks, and the dishes are not added in time. Breakfast is served until 10 o'clock, and the tofu pudding is gone after 9 o'clock. It should be pointed out in particular that when I checked in at 23 o'clock in the evening, a male employee was smoking in the lobby and put the ashtray on the front desk. The Dalian City Smoking Control Regulations stipulate that smoking rooms can be set up in accommodation places, and there must be guidance signs and warnings that smoking is harmful to health. Ashtrays are placed in the guest rooms, but these are not posted.

The hotel is in a good location, next to Nanshan Style Street, with a breathtaking view at every step. The room is quite standard. Compared with other hotels I stayed in during this trip, the service can be said to be very average. First of all, when checking in, they did not actively inform me of the breakfast location, time and floor of the room I stayed in. They were all asked and answered one by one, which was too passive. Secondly, the humanization aspect was also insufficient. The child was just over 1.2m tall, and the breakfast fee was charged strictly in accordance with the regulations, and there were fewer types of breakfast; only 2 bottles of mineral water were provided in the room, and the excess was strictly charged at 10 yuan per bottle. Should I admire your hotel for its strict implementation of the regulations? 😄 In fact, this is also normal, just standard, but the humanized service of the previous Sheraton Hotel I stayed in was super good, so the comparison was too obvious at once.

The front desk service attitude is very cold, the items are not complete, and when a guest wanted to borrow some tape, the front desk just said "it's out of stock" and left it at that. They were unable to help the guest with any solutions or suggestions, and their attitude was extremely cold, giving a very bad experience.
