I am American born retired university professor who has been married to a Chinese woman from Shanghai for twenty years. We have a house in a village next to Old Dali. Dali has a special meaning for me, because one of my favorite relatives was a pilot in the US Army Air Force who use to fly over Dali during WW II.
Xiaojian and I stayed in Yanxiuge guest house while our house was being cleaned. What is special about this guest house is it in the hills looking over the lake with views of the mountains and the amazing clouds behind it. All rooms have views of the lake and guests can see the mountains from a special garden and from the roof which has tables and chairs.
The a**osphere is very relaxed. Guests and staff are very friendly. The food is excellent, and special dinners can be organized for guests and their friends.
I give this guest house my highest recommendation. Many interesting Chinese stay here when they are in Dali.

Very friendly and helpful service, good wine selection, gorgeous view from the roof terrace over the Old Town. No elevator, difficult with heavy luggage, but staff Carrie’s it up for you.

Fantastic view over the whole of the ancient town and the lake. Very convenient for the ancient town. Very friendly staff and the service was excellent. I would recommend watching the sunrise over the lake, it was stunning.

好朋友極力推薦到大理就住焱秀居，果然比我們預期的還要滿意！
地理位置去到大理古城很方便，但又處於蒼山腳下的半山坡，空氣清新，鬧中求靜。
我們的房間聽山在二樓，房間很大，開闊，滿屏的開窗正對着蒼山洱海和大理古城，每天透過窗户看着蒼山的日出，漂浮的白雲不斷變幻，時兒潔亮明媚，時兒鑲點粉紅，洱海反射的粼粼波光也隨之不斷變化顏色……
棧內的花園和露台花園處處都是精心打理的各類花草樹木（還有好幾棵曼陀羅正處盛開之季！），在大理特有的藍天白雲之下，陽光點點，山風陣陣，幽香撲鼻，休閑沙發上一靠，真有極度放鬆和出世之感！
店主人給我們提供了很多周到貼心的服務，包車、推薦攝影師，在我感冒期間安排店內輪休工作人員周到無比地陪伴孩子外出遊玩。店類的工作人員都很親切熱情，眼裡有活，主動給客人及時提供服務和幫助，這在五星級酒店都難得遇到的賓至如歸的感受。
早餐都是現做的，現磨現煮的咖啡香氣濃郁，每天晚上還有金耳雪梨羹送到房間，好享受呀！
另外，很喜歡他們客棧的配色，選用的各種小物件、餐具、託盤，播放的音樂，牆上全世界旅遊的攝影作品，細節上處處可見主人家的品味和用心。
還有一衹好可愛的貓咪格格，孩子每天都要擼個好多回😺😻！

緣份讓我倆旅遊雲南期間入住焱秀格，入住期間，兩次續住，這裡有令人不想離開的感覺！！
衛生程度：***** 於雲南旅遊期間，覺得炎秀格為其中一間衛生程度最高的民宿。我個人對衛生要求有點高，就看淋浴間的去水及清潔程況便略知一二，焱秀格滿足了我的要求。
位置：***** 位於蒼山腳下，距離古城也不遠，周邊也有食肆，深夜從古城打車回民宿也很方便。
服務：***** 所有服務員的態度均敬業樂業，給賓客有在家的感覺，民宿有供應下午茶，晚上還有甜湯。連住兩晚，還有接站或送站服務，真的很棒。服務的姨姨態度親切，充滿笑容，常常向我們問好。晚上夜歸，驚醒了睡夢中的小哥哥，很感謝他的態度還是那樣的和藹可親，半點厭煩也沒有。
喜歡擼貓的，這裡還有一只高傲的小可愛“格格”。
設施：***** 民宿很棒，設計獨特，看似很多雜物，是凌亂的美，其實處處充滿藝術氛圍，亂中有序，處處藏寶，令人有想發掘寶藏的衝動。
民宿內的幾處庭院，鮮花、綠植處處，讓人可呼吸新鮮的空氣，令人流連忘返！！天台也是另一處秘密花園，可俯瞰天空、遠處的美景！！
如果非要讓我說有什麼可改善的地方，那早餐為旅客來一杯免費的咖啡及房間備有一瓶潤膚露，那便完美無瑕；畢竟早餐欠缺咖啡就好像缺失了點什麼，提供潤膚露也可讓旅客在如此乾燥的地域來點滋潤的感覺，這樣會讓人感覺更覺幸福！！
如有機會往雲南大理旅遊，一定要入住焱秀格哦！！她絕對不會讓你失望的！！

房間很好看，大玻璃窗景就是蒼山，走不遠就是三月街，趕上三月街民俗節，人超多非常熱鬧，但是就很多路限制機動車出入，然後就是晚上到很晚還有樓下搞活動的唱歌，包括半夜一點多還有live在唱飛兒樂隊的歌，厲害了。送了歡迎下午茶和晚上的甜湯，早餐有米線玉米牛奶雞蛋那些，花園裡很美。房間裏還有紅酒櫃，可惜我們不喝紅酒。
