Killeavy Castle Estate

Its not often you find a hotel that ticks all the boxes and everything it tries to deliver, it secedes in doing in a 1st class manor. Well Killeavy Castle hotel & Estate does and does so in spades. As soon as you check in with the friendly staff you get the feeling that this is going to be a good experience. Our 2 bed king bedded room was lovely and comfy. We ate in the bar and again welcomed as if we were family. I must mention Chloe, who must be the friendliest server I have ever meet. Chloe is a huge asset to your brand and will be going to the very top of whatever she does. The food was superb. We had the special of the day, the beef. Fell off the fork, fab. Save room for the puddings as they are great to. Have a little walk around the grounds afterwards, to try and walk off some calories. The next morning the manager sorting out the breakfast buffet was again an asset to Killeavy. A wide choice to choose from and attentive service. Lastly on checking out, the different girls on reception were superb. Chatty Sally, as she called herself was a true gem. Another young lady lady who is a huge asset to have. I wish I could remember her name. A lot of other hotels could learn a lot from coming here to see how if you try very hard, employ the right staff, then you can provide an experience that will be remembered and appreciated for a long time. We booked killeavy for our wedding two years ago and we honestly feel if we went anywhere else we would have struggled to have as good a time as we did in Killeavy. Everyone was so kind and caring at every visit and we genuinely have not one bad word to say. Shane and Eugene looked after us on the day and they are well and truly worth their weight in gold! Seidy was the most pleasant person any time we spoke, it was like she was a family member! I could go on forever naming staff that were so good to us! Just loved it all!

Would really recommend this wee gem. Staff were amazingly friendly and service was fabulous from initial contact to departure. Room was fabulous as was dinner and breakfast. I think it was the best sleep ever had in a hotel… and I have been to a lot! Also the spa treatment was heaven and so relaxing.

Excellent combined spa and fine dining experience in beautiful and peaceful surrounds. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, staff and service friendly and spot on. We managed to enjoy the spa when it was quiet and was just enough. The spa treatments were excellent.

Loved the whole experience. Friendly staff. Incredibly clean and the food was to die for. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and just the place to enjoy this The spa although small is lovely and the the rest and retreat package highly recommended When can I come back?
