Our stay lived up to expectations. Clean spacious room, quiet despite roadworks outside. Big comfortable bed. No frills service, but efficient. Good value.

Had a lovely stay when here for work. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast is great, selection of cooked and continental. Sharon and Paula were great hosts! The Shire Horse pub next door is good for an evening meal. Would stay again!

Absolutely the best breakfast I've ever had in any Premier Inn. Despite being an older hotel this place shows just what can be achieved with the right team and the right attitude. Stayed on the 14th May 2024, breakfast crew fantastic, food brilliant, reception staff on check in and check out can't fault them in any way, place was spotless despite being and older venue, well done to all thank you!!!

Receptionist Lia was so sweet and kind she went out of her way to wish my daughter a happy birthday and gave her a card and gifts. All staff were lovely and helpfull. The room was nice and clean. The only thing I can fault is that the room had no air conditioning it was 27°c which made it uncomfortable to sleep the first night but staff put a fan in the room the next morning which helped a little but it was still hot.

Always happy after staying at a Premier Inn; the cleanliness of the rooms & the beds are so comfortable. This was the same in The Hurricane. The reception team were great, professional & polite but, the main stand out for me was breakfast; Paula & Lou who took care of everything were fantastic both mornings of my stay! So bright, breezy & friendly. It really makes a difference! The food was delicious & the suggestion of a take away box was very much appreciated. Honestly, Paula & Lou were fab!!

Great stay. The chef, Paula, has to be one of the nicest, sweetest cooks I've ever come across. Full of smiles, compliments and will go above and beyond to help. What a fantastic asset you have to the team. Her team mate also was just as nice and helpful but unfortunately I didn't get her name. Lovely people ❤️ and thank you for your service!

Paula, the breakfast chef, could not have been more helpful or efficient. Kind, polite and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Rooms clean and comfortable as you would expect at Premier Inn, but staff made a difference to a standard experience

The list of failures are… No working heating in the room. No hot water in the room. Grimey bathroom. Coffee machine at breakfast not working. One kettle for a breakfast room full of tradespeople. Poor quality breakfast with advertised items unavailable. No understanding of EV charge points provided on car park.
