We enjoyed great service. Facilities were good - with separate desk and a round dining table. Everything in the room was working well. Ian was a great host. The price is of good value for a sizable motel room. Note that breakfast is served only in the room, till 8:30. Don’t expect much common facilities- there is none. The balcony is sunny and have a balcony table and chairs. The room is kept very clean. Cleaning is done daily and we enjoyed having fresh towels and cups provided. I highly recommend this motel.

Great location and great value for money but a bit more attention to minor cleaning details are needed, see pic attached, someone had written in the dust on mirror before we arrived & it was still there...?

The hotel is very clean, convenient for parking, indoor heating is air-conditioned, rooms are small but well equipped. The front desk service attitude is good. You can walk to the McDonald's next to it.

This motel also goes by the name Countryman Motor Inn. I booked it because other reviews say that the owners/staff was good. I did not have a good experience with them though. First of all there was no clear information on how to use the NSW vouchers. When I sent them a message in Booking.com, they said that I can use the vouchers when I arrive in reception. But they left out the part on HOW I can use the vouchers. Apparently, to be able to use the vouchers I should NOT pay via Booking.com's online payment system but should pay personally at the reception itself. I was not informed about this (despite me having correspondence with the motel staff via the Booking.com messaging system) and I paid via the Booking.com online payment system. When I arrived at reception, I was simply told I cannot use the vouchers and that it was my problem. The staff just wanted to wash their hands and didn't want to do anything with it. I had to make two calls to Booking.com (who were extremely helpful) and had to go back and forth with the staff just to get it sorted out. My feedback to the management of this motel is, you should do your best to help the customer instead of leaving them in a lurch. If your reception just offered to help me and made a simple phone call or email to Booking.com, the issue would have been resolved very quickly and without much fuss.

Highly recommend the Aalana as a motel to stay in if you are in Cowra. An older style motel, which is typical of Australian country towns, but very comfortable and close to various amenities. Comfortable bed and the usual motel room inclusions. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Country Gardens is a newer motel located just outside the main town area. The rooms were spacious and well equiped. The linen and towels were new and fluffy (I hate old towels!)There was a microwave, toaster and kettle in the room while guests had access to a great BBQ area and a lovely pool. It was quiet in the troom We were in town for a car event, so we were glad of the generous sized parking area. The manager was super friendly. It is not far into town and the clubs have a free shuttle bus door to door if you want to have a few drinks. Recommended.
