HD Beach Resort

Nice hotel, very friendly staff and a great beach location. Good food and drinks. Nice walk along the coast, lots of bars, restaurants and shops to visit. Appropriately twenty minutes from the airport by taxi or coach. The hotel could do with some refreshments but apparently this will be carried out next winter.

I love the experience there, the room it was very comfortable and the workers very kind too. Without thinking twice I will come back, and this time I will bring with me my family and my friends to visit lanzarote. If you are searching for a good hotel with great location and great food, HD beach and resort is your best choice

We had the most amazing week in Lanzarote and mostly thanks to people working in this hotel. Not only that hotel is so cozy compared to other all inclusive resorts. Views, pools, room, everything was really great. In the evenings also they have nice program and fantastic cocktails. HUGE Thank you to all the staff of the hotel and also those backstage for great food and very clean room (every day) Thank you Maira for taking care of us and Santiago for the best massage in the world, Most amazing instructor and trainer Laszlo and all of you ❤️ Adam, Ozzy, Naomi Daniela, Suri, Fayna, Karolina ... ❤️ best staff ever!!

Second time we’ve visited this hotel, first was eight years ago and it’s still as good. We actually gat a bottle of Prosecco left in our room welcoming us back and it was my hubby’s.birthday dying our stay and he got a card and a bottle of sparkling rose! We are well travelled and, we personally, don’t know where these adverse reviews are coming from. Rooms are clean, towels changed if you leave them in the shower (as notice says to) and food was really good for all- inclusive. Plates and food were hot and great selection. I’m a fussy eater and had no problem getting something to eat. Entertainment was super each night we were here, Motown, acrobats, songs from the movies, disco hits, 80’s night and beforehand they’d bingo, quizzes and karaoke… something for everyone. Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. Our air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough, and first thing the next morning had been fixed….well done!! The entertainment staff were great fun…my hubby participated in many of the games etc. Ozzie and Adam are amazing fun and kept the fun/party going both at night and the daytime….great employees! Plenty of restaurants a short walk away if you want a change and plenty of walks, cycle trails etc. We’ll be back again

Read the mixed reviews and after a Turkish 4 star earlier this year for ref. We cannot complain about our break at all. The hotel was clean and had plenty to do. Entertainment staff were great as were all the staff in the hotel. Food was much better than expected. And we had a fantastic Xmas. The staff and guests made it a memorable Christmas for us so thank you x We are looking forward to coming back after the refurb. Well done and thank you.

Honest review… I wouldn’t return. Prices are inflated over Christmas but we definitely overpaid for this place. The rooms are beyond basic, cleaning of the rooms not up to par either. On day 3 floors haven’t even been swept of mopped. Food selection isn’t great either, gala for Christmas day was beautiful! Spread was amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights from 17/08/23. On arrival which was late in the evening we checked in were kindly given a small buffet of food which I thought was a nice touch. After we had fed and watered ourselves we then went up to the room which was at the rear of the property on the third floor with a view of the mountains (room 323 if I remember correctly). The room appeared large and clean and I would say more apartment style than plush hotel, however after checking behind the bed we found that there were ants crawling over the bedding and behind the bed. We then went straight to reception and after explaining what we had found, the gentleman went out the back and brought us a can of insect spray! We were not happy about this and asked if they could change our room. Unfortunately the hotel was full, however the guy on reception kindly let us stay in a pool view room for one night whilst our room was being fumigated shall we say. After moving back to our designated room in the morning we found that the ants had gone and to be fair to the hotel we had no further issues with creepy crawlies afterwards. As mentioned previously I would say that the rooms are more of an apartment style than hotel room. They are very clean and our furniture in the room seemed to be okay. The cleaners come in everyday and remake the beds and mop the floors. Towels are not changed everyday as far as I could make out. Our bathroom had a double sink area, shower, hairdryer, toilet and bidet. We had two single beds in the bedroom area, a balcony with chairs and table outside and also a living area with TV, fridge and sofa. We were on an all inclusive package and I found the food at the time to be quite nice. Lots of healthy choices to be had. But repetitive. Drinkswise there is help yourself wines, beer and soft drinks in the eating areas and bars have a small selection of cocktails and spirits. Any named cocktails ie Pina Colada are chargeable. The beer seemed to be quite lively not sure why? so I stayed away from that. You are allowed a meal in their Italian Restaurant once during your stay which was nice, although it does state that you have to pay fro your drinks. The entertainment however leaves a lot to be desired. There seems to be no organisation or timings to the evenings. Face painting for the children can last up to half 9. or beyond. During our stay, one performer/group did not turn up so the entertainment crew had to improvise and did karaoke that evening but it all seemed to be a shambles. Entertainment outside faired better with the singers however on the first evening we were there the performers weren't lit so it was hard to see them. Don't get me wrong a holiday is not all about the entertainment, however when your on all inclusive package call me tight but I don't really want to have to spend extra money elsewhere on buying drinks to get better entertainment for the evening. We stayed here for a week during the Easter holidays and it’s excellent for families! The kids club is relaxed and keeps them occupied for a few hours so parents can actually have a holiday too! The Mini Disco is just brilliant and some of the evening entertainment is the best I’ve seen at a hotel and is family friendly. There are a choice of pools, always easy to get a pool-side sun lounger and the kids loved the splash pool. The food is fab - something for everyone. It got really busy at certain times but the staff were so helpful and nothing was a problem. No matter which member of staff you met and where you met them - in the cafeteria, the pool side, bar, corridor - all of them had a smile and an “Hola” :) Special mention for Jesper and Alex who were both brilliant with the children and introduced us to games we hadn’t played before (pétanque and something with a board and wooden pucks - I can’t remember the name of it) and new action songs. We had a brilliant time!

Had read mixed reviews before we came away so was a little worried ! Check in might have been a little slow if we hadn’t been at the front of the line as only one member of staff . Towels twenty euro deposit but you get this back when you hand them back in . Safe you have to pay for , should be free ! Rooms yes are tatty but I understand the hotel is having a make over later in the year . Rooms big and a lovely comfortable bed . Rood you couldn’t fault lots of choice . Friendly staff . They really need a bar at the top poor , Hope this will happen when the hotel is done up . No fight for sun beds . If you walk through the car park next to the hotel and turn left there are some shops and places to eat . Or you can walk along the beach front to lots more shops . We would love to come back but sadly there are no dates when they will open next year 😢
