We so appreciate the service from the Motel 6 staff located at 6301 IH 37, Corpus Christi, TX 78409-2719 My husband and I have stayed here for approximately one year. ALL of the staff has made it such a comfortable stay!! The service was outstanding. April (the General Manager) is on top of her game!! She went the extra mile to ensure our customer satisfaction and the other administrative staff (Ashley, Irma and the other administrative staff) were polite and courteous at all times. Maria, Deyaira and Jacqueline treated us with the utmost and respect and warmth as they diligently kept the rooms clean and daily provided for our needs. Last but not least the maintenance crew (Miguel and Giovonni) were able to get the job done without any delay and were very seasoned maintenance professionals. We would highly recommend Motel 6 (m63226bo) to family, friends and people of all ages. We thank all of you for your hard work. You deserve the highest of praises! The good things first, rooms are budget friendly (on the higher end of course!) The service is amazing and so are the people who serve. Rooms are good and clean and very well maintained, has a classy touch to it. The only thing that lacks is the royal touch to it; a more grand and palatial feel inside out.

My Husband and Are 2 boys and I had such a great time. The Rooms are very clean and the gentleman that checked us in that night was very friendly and very helpful. My kids had such a great time in the pool and hot tube. We will definitely go back a d stay again.

There are lots of little things that I was willing to overlook at this hotel. We walked in the lobby to and empty desk and awkwardly approached. Looked around for a second. Then the front desk person came out of the room and was very pleasant and sent us to our room with one key. Most hotels give us 2. We got on the elevator and stood in the elevator looking at each other in horror at the sounds it made. No biggie. We got to our room and the door was cracked open. I made my wife wait while I checked the room for anyone that may be in there. Went back to close the door and realized I had to force the door shut. Which was annoying during a 4 day stay. The mirrors and windows were clean… except for the tops. I guess the house keeper was short…everything above 5 ft was still dirty. No biggie. Every surface above 4 ft in the room was dusty, which is gross. There were questionable stains in several spots on the carpet. The ledge under the window and around the AC unit was loose and was basically leaning against the wall. Safety issue! All issues I was willing to overlook. Bed was not comfy. It wasn’t horrible but not great. The ding from the elevator was extremely loud all night long. Breakfast was very underwhelming after seeing the pictures of breakfast online. All of this was fine until day 3 we followed the instructions in the room and went to the front desk to fill out a housekeeping request to have our room refreshed and our towels changed. We filled it out and put it in the basket. The lady up front that was taking a complaint from another person about footprints on their toilet. We dropped of the slip and the lady yelled past the other gentleman to us asking if we were checking out. We said “no we are just filling out a housekeeping request” she seemed very irritated and asked how long we have been there. We said it was our third day. She said you have to wait until the fourth day. We said that’s not what the paper in the room says. And she said I am sorry. So my wife said “well can we get some new towels?”(they only gave us 2) she said those requests need to be made early so the housekeepers can get it ready. We looked at our phones and said it’s not even 9 yet. She made a shooing motion and said I’ll take care of it in a very rude tone. We left very upset. I have never been talked to that way at any hotel or motel ever. In the hospitality industry you never talk to a customer in that way. EVER. We went to the beach and came back at 2pm still no towels no refresh. I found the housekeeper and she was very pleasant and gave me 2new towels. We told her don’t worry about the refresh. Summary: this place is using Covid as an excuse to not clean which is counter productive to preventing Covid. It is not a large hotel more accountability is needed with housekeeping and maintenance. Any lady that speaks to a guest the way we were spoken to should be fired. If you have Covid protocols follow them all not just the convenient ones. I would not recomme

I’m usually pretty happy staying at LaQ and this time was no exception. My only big issue was there was mold growing under the silicone caulk around the tub. I feel this should have been cleaned and replaced. I also would have liked more than 1 regular coffee pack….there was 1 reg/1 decaf for 2 adults who love their coffee.The walls are a little thin, we could hear our neighbors and their children come in at 2am. Other than that our stay was great! Check in was flawless, staff was nice and attentive, bed was comfy, A/C worked great, breakfast smelled yummy but we didn’t have time to eat. Price was excellent for a last minute, holiday weekend booking. I would stay here again!

The hotel is relatively clean, but the details are not enough, and small indoor objects need to be further improved, such as alarm clocks or telephones, the dust on the outside surface of the machine is cleaned up. Some of the hotel's imports are easy to miss. The reception at the hotel is very warm. The hardware facilities are good value for money.

Never before in all my years of traveling have I had an experience like my recent stay at this property. This Holiday Inn Express is about 5 minutes from Corpus Christi Downtown, in a bit of an Industrial area. We've stayed here several times and it's a nice, very clean property. We like this location because it's not in the middle of all the traffic, and not next to the beach (more traffic and higher prices). It also has freeway access which makes getting around town an absolute snap. When my wife and I pulled into the parking lot we were a little concerned that the property was closed for some reason. There wasn't a single car in sight. So very odd. We pulled under the canopy and saw the lights were indeed on, so we walked inside. A very nice young man ”Chris” greeted us and checked us in. We asked Chris why the parking lot was empty? He explained to us that the hotel ”had no guests” today. LOL, he must have seen the concern on our faces and soothed our nerves by explaining that the day after Thanksgiving is a traditionally slow day at this property. Calmed by these words we headed up to our room. Turns out we had been upgraded to a larger, corner room. Really appreciated that too. Over the next two days, we came to feel spoiled like we've never experienced. Instead of property staff appearing bored and lifeless, they made every effort to treat us well and make us feel at home. We came to know the Manager ”Lydia” and the lady that runs the breakfast buffet (which by the way was in full swing despite only the two of us eating). They all took care of us, and helped answer all our questions about where to go and what to do. I've just never, ever felt so comfortable and at home in a hotel. I didn't think it was possible to feel this way. Kudos to every single member of this team. It boggles my mind that you would be so professional, given the empty property. We never saw a single shortcut taken. My wife and I had the full Holiday Inn Express treatment, and a little extra to boot. I'm humbled to know that these good people took our comfort so seriously. I really believe that they are a credit to the entire Holiday Inn Express brand, and should all be awarded for their obvious professionalism and commitment to customer service. Every traveler should experience staff like this. I can't say enough nice things about them.

I always travel with my service dog and was pleased to see this location had a ”dog area”. This area had grass well cut, however, there was trash everywhere and the doggie waste station was broken. The waste basket was on the ground and there were no waste bags in the receptacle. I always have bags with me but it's nice to know they're available should a guest forget theirs. The elevator floor linoleum was very old and dated with chips in it upon entering. The floor I was on was quite noisy all night. There was a smaller dog barking non-stop for hours. A baby crying/wailing for about 15 minutes( so loud I could hear the baby in my room), the room next to me had their TV on super loud until after 3:30 a.m. I know it was this time because my dog had to relieve himself at 3:10 a.m. The staff was the shining light here. The check in agent was friendly and very efficient. The housekeepers were all very friendly as they all said hello upon passing any of them and the check out agent was friendly. Maintenance crew were nice when I ran into them in the hallways. The staff is what kept me from giving this location all poor ratings. The location was alot further from the beach than I anticipated. Probably won't stay here again due to location and conditions described in review.
