We have stayed here before maybe 10 years earlier. We have the warmest memories of this place and our visit now lived up to past experience. Most beautiful hotel we've stayed in and the proprietor and staff welcoming, excellent. Restaurant is great as well. For the setting, quality of restaurant, and everything else I think an excellent value, We want to return next year. Stayed 3 days this time, maybe a little longer next. Good access Rouen, Giverny, etc.

Over the past two + decades we've enjoyed scores of privately run “hotel restaurants” throughout France. The combination of tranquil grounds, a mansion with architectural character, and a very friendly and engaging Proprietaire, Madame Karine Petiteau, make this a very special place — and one to which we hope to return. During out two night stay, and especially at dinner (served on the lovely enclosed balcony over a spar of the river), it became apparent that this is a local venue for heartwarming anniversary and multi-generational family events. Our suite, “Olive,” was renovated very nicely just last year with traditional wall fabrics — what a fine touch (literally). The river enters under the room’s balcony, and exits under its siting room. I’ll attach some pictures because I think those here on TA and even on the hotel website don’t quite do the room justice. Even the pics don’t fully capture it, however. Also note: The dining (the chef is Madame Petiteau’s husband) was very good over our two dinners and two breakfasts — and indeed we stayed for lunch on the day we checked out. I'll also attach pictures of some plates, and the dinning terrace. PS: And if you visit Giverny from here, we recommend taking the D1 — it was a beautiful drive. I'll attach one picture of that "entrance" Giverny.

We have been wanting to stay here for years and we’re not disappointed. Warmly greeted by Madame Petiteau, who is totally charming, we were shown to a room on the first floor overlooking the Seine. A good shower and comfy bed gave us a great nights sleep notwithstanding a thunderstorm in the early hours. The hotel has a couple of rowing boats to venture out onto the river and a swimming pool. The building is almost like a fairy tale castle and is very a**ospheric. Mon Petiteau cooks great tasting and attractive dishes from a short menu and the wine list is noteworthy. Breakfast is classically French with great pastries, bread and jams, ham and cheese and delicious yoghurt and a bowl of fresh fruit. All the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Just 2 1/2 hours from Calais and not far from Les Andelys and the gardens at Giverny. What a treat, thank you.

We only got to stay at this hotel for one evening but it was the best on our roadtrip. The owner made us feel so welcome right from the start and very much at home. We really appreciated being able to keep our dog with us for dinner and breakfast, with all the staff making such a fuss of him that even he would like to go back! The food in the evening was excellent, with great recommendations for wine and digestifs as well. It is in a beautiful location on the river and there was a small island where we could let the dog off the lead for a run as well which was great. It's a very convenient spot for a UK tunnel crossing, about 2 and half hours from Calais so we very much hope to return! Breakfast was also very nice with homemade pastries, baguette, cheese, ham and jams.

We stayed as a stopover for one night. The hotel is situated above the river in a wonderful location. We had two rooms both of which were well furnished and had comfortable beds. Each room had its own characteristics and one had air conditioning with a mezanine. The beds were very comfortable. The service was excellent. Very friendly and very much focused on your needs. Breakfast is served in a separate resturant and reminds of the very best of a traditional French hotel breakfast with a wide spread of local produce, more than you can really eat. For service and location this is definately a hotel to return to.

Absolutely amazing location on the Seine. Literally On, as a side stream passes under what was a water mill. Very friendly and helpful owner at reception. Lovely views of the river and a fun island to explore. 2 pools, big enough to cool off in after a long drive in the middle of a heatwave. We were upgraded to a suite with a view and balcony - lovely. The evening meal was very good (but not the cheapest) and the location looking out either side to a riverscape which could have been an impressionist painting could not be bettered. We slept well until we woke up early as we had to get off to the ferry. The water pressure was a bit low but this was in the middle of a heatwave and water concerns.

11 years in the making I had been planning on visiting since 2011, however the stars had never aligned on my trips. Fortunately when we eventually made it in 2022, it lived up to my expectations. Its a great building in a fabulous location where peace and tranquillity descend on you. The food was fabulous but its not the most wide ranging menu, so if your a fussy eater you may struggle. Try the local cider, it was the best I had on my whole trip. The staff were excellent in particular the owner Karin, you genuinely feel she is welcoming you into her own home. Nothing is too much trouble and she has an infectious enthusiasm. If I can I'll definitely be back.

We celebrated our wedding day at the moulin. A very romantic and somehow magical place alongside the Seine river, bathed in quietness and beauty. The team was very professional and kind from the start of the project until the very end. Excellent table service as well. The food was gorgeous and wines a perfect match. Highly recommend the home-smoked salmon as a first dish. We spent the night in the suite, right on top the river. Waking up with the birds singing to witness the fog lift up to make place for a sunny day is a perfect morning; the breakfast topped it off. Many thanks to the team for a really amazing and successful day. All our guests were delighted.

This hotel is beautifully situated on the river Seine not far from Rouen. The hotel itself is a delight with spacious well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. It has a lovely swimming pool set in grounds on a small island. The reception rooms have lovely views up and down the river and you can eat inside the restaurant or outside on the terrace. The food is very good and the chef was very amenable in adapting his dishes to my idiosyncrasies. All the staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly ( Inma and Issa, sorry, I could never get your name right!) with the star of the show and the hotel’s biggest asset being it’s owner Madame Karine Petiteau, she was like an ultra friendly, happy, smiling Duracell bunny, always having time to chat or advise, helping with anything. If at all possible whenever we next go to France, we shall try to stay here.
