Find Hotels in South Williamsport

As IHG members we stay regularly Holiday Inns. Alas, while we like the points, we've found that not all sites are equal. THIS one is, by far, the very best we've found and is always where we stay when visiting family. As the title claims, it's ALWAYS all of those things--clean, friendly, and a great value. The breakfast area is kept well-stocked with a good variety of options, and is overseen by attentive managers (thank you, Kelly!). Our bathroom was spotless with a step-in shower that drained well and provided pump style amenities. There's a mini-fridge in each room and a Wegman's grocery store across the parking lot where you can either buy to load up your fridge, or sit and grab a quick meal. We've always wondered--how is this particular HI so much better in quality and price than others? Could it be that they host the major TV network staff who stay during Little League World Series? Perhaps. Or maybe it's just Williamsport, down to earth, attentive customer service. The one and only thing that is a challenge is limited parking, especially if you land at night on a weekend. That's when the crowds are big at the adjacent James Restaurant which shares the lot. Several guests complained while we stood in the lobby. There's overflow parking but it's not advertised or posted anywhere for guests to see (which would be helpful), We've learned to park offsite, then retrieve and repark our car after the restaurant closes.

Great reception, great breakfast, great room, loved it. Didn't have time for the indoor pool or gym. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. A place you could stay for awhile and really enjoy. ,........... ..........................!

I enjoyed staying here the past couple of times! The hotel is well kept and is cleaned daily. There are many hard working employees who consistently sanitize the lobby & bathroom areas while people are out and about. The large/ joined rooms we stayed in were well kept too. We had 3 rooms all together 2 rooms (full bath) that were joined with a kitchen that had a sink,dishwasher oven coffee maker, microwaves and appliances! **There is also lots to do since the hotel has a workout area that has a treadmill, elliptical, bike and weight rack which is nice. They also have towels and water available. The pool is nice clean and quiet and has a hot tub. ⚠ The only recommendation/ warning is that the breakfast selection is LIMITED in the morning. They do have a couple of options like cereal, yougurt, and a few VERY FEW items like muffins/biscuits but they are really dry. They have a couple of packaged breakfast sandwitches/fritadas that are limited and the one I got was expired on March 13 and I ate it on April 16th without checking the date!!!! I know this may sound a bit overkill but breakfast ends at 10 and the food is limited and rarely refilled and the only reason I say this is because a mom and her 3 kids tried to go down to the lobby at 9:50 to grab a bite and there was nothing for their family to eat and no refills either so definitely a ”first come first served”. They were leaving later that morning/ early afternoon so there is a travel inconvenience because of their limited supply of food. Besides that I have absolutely no complaints but would recommend stopping at Wegmans across the street and pick up some breakfast items to avoid the stress!! Again super great place with nice staff and pets are welcome!!

I stayed here one night on my way to upstate New York. The hotel was a solid choice. For a domestic property they had good Platinum recognition. Breakfast was decent for a free meal but mostly what you'd expect cereal, oatmeal, fruit and some prepackaged hot options. Not awesome but ok for this level of service. There is a small amount of parking in front of the hotel for check-in but overnight parking is across the street above the bus station. We had a two bedroom suite which was a great for three of us travelling together (this was what we paid for it was not an upgrade). Overall I would hesitate to stay here again.

It is a century-old hotel, so the decoration is quite old. If you like modern style hotels, you may not like this one, but for a century-old hotel, the maintenance is pretty good and the price is also quite good.

Clean quiet and relaxing...Big comfortable bed... Location is close to home I love it. Great breakfast only thing is they need to serve turkey or beef sausage and or bacon for the people who does not eat pork.
