We had our share of bad experiences the past year due to COVID causing problems while traveling, and I am happy to report this place was the BEST of our hotel experiences of the year! This place is very nice inside, clean, well furnished, all looks new in the interior spaces, our king room was excellent, clean, big bathroom, large bed, and we had a view of the back side which didn't bother us at all - saw the river scenes. The breakfast was prepared to go in a separate room near the beautiful small lobby with a fireplace, and it was very good and fresh. Wrap breakfast sandwiches one day with coffee, juice, etc, or muffins. Next day was a boxed up breakfast. We loved the location where you may walk out to local shops and area restaurants, and there is a nice restaurant attached to this hotel as well. Hotel check in staff was very professional, informative, easy check-in, and the parking garage is attached with easy access. If we go back to Concord, we will stay here again. Our room did feel a little cool but it seemed to be fine later, so we had to figure out the temp controls a bit. I personally felt like I finally had a great hotel stay after the year we have had of bad experiences elsewhere. Thank you to all at The Hotel Concord for your accomplishments. And Happy New Year!
We stayed at the Centennial for one night while visiting family in the area. It seemed like the best choice out of the local options, which were mostly chain and budget hotels. The Centennial was definitely interesting - it's in a historic mansion that was built as a home for Civil War widows, so it has lots of vintage touches and guest rooms of varied shapes and sizes. The best part about our two queen room was that it was huge. There was a round dining table with four chairs on one side of the beds, and a comfortable upholstered chair and ottoman on the other. The decor was bland and rather dated, but the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was quite small and we had some trouble with the sink draining very slowly. We were told there was no way it could be serviced in time for us since we were only there for one night. The restaurant and bar were closed on the night of our stay but we did sit there in the morning while having the complimentary continental breakfast, which was fine but basic. The staff was friendly and the location is good, with downtown Concord within walking distance. My. main complaint about the Centennial Hotel is that the nightly rate while we were there was way out of line for what I think our stay was worth. I realize that hotels use some sort of algorithm based on demand, but it was tough to be charged luxury hotel prices for something that was definitely not a luxury hotel.
Lovely staff, nice lobby, good food and nice sized rooms. My only complaint was in the bathroom. The lights are dim and the shower curtain liner was more discolored than I was comfortable with. I appreciated the shower gel and shampoo and conditioner available in pumps for our use. There was only one small towel rack and a slightly askew hook on the back of the door. Room had plenty of workspace, a fridge, got nice and cold at night and had a comfy bed. There is an outside area with tables and chairs to relax in nice weather. Every single staff member I met was friendly and helpful. There is a small bistro on site for the morning and evening crowds. I had a little food and drink there, but also ordered food delivery because I wanted some local, less expensive food.

We have been staying at this hotel when visiting NH for several years now with no issues. With the heightened awareness around travel and cleanliness in these times, the Residence Inn completely missed the mark! The first room we were given was incredibly dusty but what put me over the edge was when I saw something on the bedroom door that appeared to be a small chocolate or maybe a bloodstain. The manager was very apologetic and gave us a different room. The second room felt a bit cleaner than the first but still quite dusty. It was certainly less impressive than previous stays. The back door entrance did not open. The pool area look like it hadn’t been wiped down in some time, the pebble flooring in the pool area had several spots that was coming up, the basketball court was not secure, the fenced area was torn which is incredibly dangerous should a child be playing and chase the ball into the parking area or busy road! On a positive note, management and staff were as nice as ever. It’s very disappointing to see this hotel become neglected. We have stayed there many times and would have loved to continue to have this hotel be our NH go to.
Our experience was great the service great the staff was friendly
Breakfast was delicious a wide variety something for everyone in the family The room was very clean smelled just as clean ! we loved the fact the room had extra seating in the room there was plenty of desk space for my laptop and paper work My daughter enjoyed the pool and hot I have to admit most hotel pools and hot tubs aren't the most clean and the smell of chlorine will choak you but There pool area was clean the smell of pool chlorine was light it wasn't humidit fresh clean pool towels access to the bathroom for the kids The gym area was just a great very spacious Down in lobby the have a nice little store area where you can purchase snacks small meals drinks a microwave to make your food prices were reasonable The televisions have great quality and get selection of apps internet TV local channels and more
I had a nice experience at this hotel the receptionist super nice, the place cleaned and cute, location 4 minutes driving from the Downtown, the hotel pool was nice and they have also hot tub plus sauna with is a plus for the guests. I’m totally happy with my staying at this hotel. I also brought my two dogs to the hotel they are pet friendly and my check in was super smooth…
The breakfast was very good, the hotel reception was very beautiful, it was the first hotel I stayed in in the United States, except for the other points.
Trendy budget hotel brand, lacking standard amenities, at a premium price. I travel frequently and generally like Hilton properties, so I tried Tru branded hotel while traveling through Concord, NH - for the first, and now last time. First, it's seriously overpriced, even compared to much nicer and roomier Hilton brands. Our room was tiny, probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. There was not enough room for two people to pass side by side. The furniture looked like it came from a DIY big box store. There was no closet, just a few hooks protruding from the already narrow corridor (that I caught my arm on 3 times) between the bed and the bathroom, and a hanger rod attached to the wall and ceiling. There was no microwave and one basic office-style chair at a small desk. The soap dispensers are about the size of a tube of caulking, and you need to squeeze them. We were generally pleased with the overall cleanliness and physical condition of the room, but otherwise we were very disappointed. Finally, the breakfast bar was attractive, but again, options were quite limited. So, if the hip minimalist dorm room vibe at a premium price is your thing, you may like this brand, otherwise stay with the tried-and-true brands and enjoy more space, more amenities, and save a little money.
My room was spotless. The property is conveniently located off the Interstate, but far enough so that road noise is not an issue. The desk staff could not be more helpful. Special thanks to Carl, who suggested some local attractions as well as one of the best Chinese Restaurants I've ever eaten in. As an added bonus, the restaurant is located literally across the street. No need to drive! I was on vacation, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll stay here,no contest.
The Quality Inn has pretty much everything you need along with breakfast in the mornings and everything is up to standard. The rooms are old but in a charming way and they are clean and well maintained. It's in a great location with a gas station right next to it. My one complaint with this hotel is actually the guests and townies you will see while you are here. There was this big scary drunk bearded guy walking around open carrying and aggressively taunting people and a lot of youths partying and stuff. We had to call the front desk and issue a noise complaint on our next door neighbors during our stay. They had 6 men in their room at one point drinking beers. Thankfully the police regularly run through the area to patrol and talk with the local businesses. Overall I was impressed with the hotel and how much value they could provide as a budget hotel option. Would stay again if I were forced to go to Concord.
