Very good double room, I actually only need to book a room. The front desk is a Chinese girl. We arrived late and posted the key at the door. I think I will stay in this hotel in the future. Our room has a simple kitchen. Of course, there is also a large kitchen in the caravan park next door. I think this place is very comfortable when the weather is good

Haast is most certainly one of the more remote places in NZ. I have stayed at the Heritage Park Lodge several times and would rate it as THE place to stay in the township. You will be greeted by a warm and friendly smile, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and just 2 minutes walk away, is THE place to eat in Haast - the Hard Antler tavern. The hotel is located in the small town of Haast, 120 kilometers west of Fox Glacier. It is suitable for staying one night on the way to Fox Glacier or coming out of Fox Glacier. The room is very comfortable and parking is available outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Breakfast is a classic Western breakfast with not many choices but the taste is okay. If you want to go out to eat, you need to go to the town center 3 kilometers away. There are no commercial facilities within the walking circle around the hotel.
