It was a very comfortable hotel with a friendly a**osphere. The room was clean. The staff were very friendly. The buffet-style breakfast was just the right amount of rice, bread, side dishes, salad, Chigasaki's specialty kenchinjiru soup, homemade miso soup, dashi chazuke, coffee, and more.
The hotel is located on the grounds of Chigasaki City Hall, and from the counter seats in front of the front desk you can see the lawn plaza and the bronze statue of Yuzo Kayama. I felt at ease while sipping my morning coffee.

Even among Toyoko Inn hotels, this one was very clean and neat.

I stayed here while I was working in Ofuna. It was the middle of the long weekend and the prices were high everywhere nearby, so this place was cheap and I was glad. It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's within acceptable limits.

It's new and very clean, and I'm glad the reception and dining area can't be seen from the outside. In terms of distance, the old Toyoko Inn feels closer to the station.
I hope that this new hotel will attract more tourists to Chigasaki in the future.
