It was a pleasant stay in the hotel . The hotel is renovated n looking good . The restaurant is done up well and looks good to have a peace full mind with ahot cup of tea. I like staying in hotel fortel.... The new restaurant which is open and called has Enoki is also good and the sushi is awesome...

Was good stay. Recommend for medium budget decent stays.

The hotel is provides a super service. Rooms are very clean. Toiletries, tea making facilities, drinking water are available in the room. Room service is provided daily. Clean linen, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms with hot water facility. Breakfast has a moderate variety. taste and sufficient quantities. Friendly staff, good service.

This is not a star hotel . Very old rooms and furniture. So filthy floors and curtains. No fridge in the room . I have complained to Agoda and duty ***ager . They changed the another room but same condition. I stayed two worst nights there. Never ever going back there .

Hotel was neat, and in proximity to key places in Chennai . Food options in the hotel and places around are good Egmore station, Anna salai, higginbothams …

The hotel is situated in a good place and staffs are very helpful. Room is spacious and well maintained. Bed and linens are clean. Food is tasty and breakfast is good. Only thing the restaurant is crowded. It’s fine feeling to relax.

I had a night stay at the hotel during my visit to India. I was referred to this hotel by a friend, and found it to bel the right choice. I found the room clean, and greeted by friendly staff, just fit the bill. I will stay at the hotel on my next visit to the city

Amazing hotel in Chennai... It was Great Experience, we will recommend to others. The food and taste Location is very close to railway station and beach close to the hotel The rooms very clean and staff are friendly.Definitely visit again once i come Chennai..

Worst behaviour of ***ager and Reseption person guest not allows meet in room but in front of me more than 10 person 3 girls where going to in one single room ***ager allows them but we 3 friends was there given 2 guest id proof then also allows only 10 minutes in 10 minutes gets call from Reseption your time up is this worth for 4500 paying for a room guest not allowed to meet but others they allows without id proof for them not restrictions 13-14 persons including girls in single room they allows without asking questions hotel ***agement should see this issue going on with his hotel

There was a New Year's party in the basement on the day we arrived. Lots of teenage and young adults were staying and/or visiting for the party. I believe drinking was allowed. It was busy and loud all night. It may have affected our judgement. Room was fine. We asked for 2 beds for total of 3 adults but we only got a double bed. When requested, they reluctantly brought us a roll-away bed, not sure if it was our travel agent's fault that this size room was booked. Bathroom had glass enclosure for the shower which we preferred; which prevents the toilet commode from getting wet. Breakfast, which was free for us (not sure if our agent paid for it separately or is included with all types of bookings) was pretty good. There were Idlys, Vadas, some kind of Payasam, Dosas brought to the table, variety of fresh fruits, in addition to Coffee/Tea. Overall food was pretty good, one of the best in our experience. I would say our overall experience was good and we would certainly recommend it.

Hotel was good nice atmosphere,nice location easily to catch train for outsiders,and staff behaviour was terrible who was did night bell boy Christian name how you can keep.drunken.bell.boy in shift ladis movement was there sgl.lady it's not safe in night time check-in so ladies avoid this type of hotel visit

Worst hotel to stay. Front desk receptionist Shaen made me wait for more than 30 min to give the room at midnight telling that he didn't get booking voucher, even though we had a clear confirmed booking. Had to contact customer care and sort it out. His behaviour was very rude. Rooms are overpriced for the size. Though we paid extra amount for breakfast during the booking, they didn't provide any information about the breakfast timings at checkin and when we went for breakfast, they said that the restaurant is closed and we cannot have the food. No one in the hotel cares for the plight of the customers. I would like to give a MINUS 10 rating for the service. Worst experience till now.

The rooms are not as shown in the reference photos. The rooms are not maintained and the smoke (cigarette) smell is all over the floor & in elevators. I had to stay because of non-refundable condition. Surely not recommended for “family”. Food is pricey. The only pros is the hotel located just next to Egmore railway station.
