We had booked VGP Golden Beach Resort for our wedding on February 8, 2026, and unfortunately, our experience with the management was extremely disappointing. While booking the venue, Mr Bala was very responsive and friendly. However, after the booking was confirmed, he completely stopped responding to our calls and messages. To make matters worse, on the night of our reception, there was a theft in two of our rooms. This appeared to happen due to the resort’s improper locking systems. The master key was kept at the reception, and the bellboy frequently used it whenever guests were locked out of their rooms, which raises serious security concerns. What followed was utter panic after our reception. Despite reporting the issue, no one from the management has made any effort to properly address the situation or even contact us regarding the incident. This was supposed to be one of the most important days of our lives, and the lack of responsibility and follow-up from the resort management has been deeply disappointing. We strongly urge future couples and guests to carefully reconsider before booking this venue.
