When I was leaving Shantou for Chaozhou, I was most looking forward to this B&B that I found the night before. I was pleasantly surprised after checking in! The building of this B&B is a hundred years old. When the owner was repairing it, he tried his best to preserve the original appearance of the building. I really appreciate people who do things this way, and they have also made contributions to cultural relics. Many windows and floors in the main building are original. There is a place to drink tea and chat in the yard. I happened to have half a day to catch the rain. It was really pleasant to drink tea, listen to the rain and chat in the yard, and experience the feeling of a wealthy family. I listened to the boss talk about the history of this building. The design of the B&B is very unique, the room is very clean, and the yard is also beautiful, with fish and cats. Live on the second floor, there is a balcony at the door to enjoy the view and drink tea. Although it is a wooden door, the room is very soundproof, and I didn't feel that living in the alley was noisy. The only drawback is that the toilet is a little small, and it may be crowded if you are tall. Then make a small suggestion, the sanitation can be done more actively, and the housekeeper can take the initiative to ask the guests if they need to do the sanitation, or directly help to do it.

Cheng Mansion was the first homestay we stayed in during our trip to Chaozhou. The mansion is a century-old house with a different world inside, far away from the noise of the streets. The owner and the proprietress were very enthusiastic and chatty. Kung Fu tea and snacks were free for guests staying at the hotel. Sitting in the yard at night, looking at the Republic of China-style house with rockery and pool water, it was very pleasant and left a deep impression on our Chaozhou trip. If we come to play next time, we will come again. Great!

This homestay is worthy of the title of a mansion! It can be called high-end: high, the room floor is at least 3.5 meters, large, the house is grand, and has a strong sense of sedimentation. The accessories and bedding selected are all top-quality products. The environment is elegant and spacious, quiet in the bustling city, and the boss and his wife are friendly and enthusiastic. I travel a lot on business trips and rarely comment on it. This folk custom makes me want to say it again to show encouragement!

I came back to Sichuan to write a review!!! The only shortcoming of his house is that the butler service is too enthusiastic! From picking up and carrying luggage, to inviting tea, giving souvenirs, free breakfast, and even the toiletries are MUJI disposable towels! Although the room is small, it has a cave inside. The design is very unique. The toilet of the ordinary room is hidden, the staircase of the loft room is three-dimensional spiral, and the glass of the tatami room is one-way perspective... And if you are a photography enthusiast like me, you can really take the model to shoot from day to night here, and you can take pictures casually while drinking tea! If you are brave enough, you can climb to the rooftop, and the composition is completely different! It is best to book in advance during holidays, because they are inside the archway street, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. I have recommended it to several friends who want to travel to Chaoshan, and I will definitely stay here next time!

The homestay has been open for about half a year, and the decoration is relatively new. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the original style of the building is well preserved, with a very Republican feel. There are many succulents and fish planted in the small garden downstairs, and the children are very happy to feed them. There is a tea room on the first floor and a small terrace on the second floor, where you can drink tea and sunbathe. It is not far to walk to Paifang Street, which is convenient for taking children out.
