It seems that the newly opened store facilities are quite new, very high-grade, automatically created, the table and toilet are very new, the toilet is smart, the sink is new, and the heating is also very good. The sound insulation is not good (a common problem in the hotel), and the sound of the faucet flushing the toilet in other rooms is obvious. The faucet in my house is also very loud. Tmall elf is not very easy to use, and the network is always poor. There is a large stain on the skin of the bedside that has not been wiped clean. The overall is very good, because it is really new! And there is no decoration smell.

MMark NMy family ended up originally booking for one night but added two more nights. The non smoking room was nice smelling, clean and bed was comfy. The location was suitable as we had personal business to do in the area but near motian mall where kids can play at Meland and lots of restaurants around. I was impressed with the service at the hotel to do our laundry, with check out times and overall information. I also think you can check out at 6 pm which is super convenient. The breakfast was good. The chinese side of the family enjoyed it, and as a westerner I found it suitable to have eggs, toast, and coffee. The coffee is an automatic expresso machine and NOT packets which was wonderful and tasted normal for western standards. We stayed during the week and really found the hotel to be quiet and could sleep well. The gym is good as well with enough equipment for a suitable workout. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and would stay here again. If I did have one minor complaint, It may have been one day when we were checking in two men started smoking in the lobby right by a non smoking sign which caused my daughter and I to leave the lobby for a few minutes so it would be nice if the hotel front desk enforced that especially with the signs up. Saying that, Changchun is a place where people tend to not abide by smoking signs but still be nice to have the staff politely address that.

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around, and the lobby has a chic, inviting atmosphere. The rooms are decorated in the popular minimalist style, clean and well-designed, with a shoe-changing stool by the door and a mini-fridge under the bar stocked with mineral water and Coca-Cola. The smart toilet flushes automatically when you leave, and there's also a smart speaker (Xiao Du Xiao Du). The large bed is very comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the breakfast is clean and tasty. Overall, it's a fantastic hotel.

MM8821****I managed to get tickets for the Changchun Airshow, so I booked a hotel on Ctrip. To my surprise, I found out that IHG had just opened a new InterContinental Hotel in Changchun this year – the InterContinental Changchun Gaoxin. I immediately placed an order, but it was fully booked on the 18th and 19th. To stay at an InterContinental, I decided to extend my trip by a day.
My stay was incredibly comfortable. The decor is a new Chinese-style light luxury and minimalist design, and the cleanliness definitely met five-star standards. The highlight of the facilities was the Kohler smart sensor toilet – no need to lift the lid yourself!
Finally, let's talk about the service. Every staff member I interacted with greeted me with a smile and was eager to help. I especially want to commend Lobby Manager Wang Xue; her service was truly a 'five-star benchmark.' When she learned that we had specifically adjusted our airshow schedule to stay at the hotel, she not only proactively helped us confirm the transportation routes to the airshow venue but also thoughtfully prepared portable bottled water and a sunscreen reminder card.
This stay truly made me feel that 'InterContinental quality' isn't just about luxurious hardware; it's also about the warmth hidden within their service. Even having to wait an extra day to stay here was completely worth it. The next time I come to Changchun, this hotel will definitely be my first choice!

- About 10 mins walk to “The Hill”/“Wanda Shopping Mall” and Tram 54
Cons:
- Not easy to find the exact location in Didi App as it’s very new and there are a few hotels of the same name around the area
- Was told that they have disabled the aircond (Cold air) during winter and it will only blow warm air. With that, we were advised to turn off the aircond and we slept sweating as the temperature was not low enough for a great night sleep
- To maximize space, there wasn’t any proper hanging (wardrobe) area that we can use to hang our winter jackets
Overall (Summary)
- Great hotel for its location and with much local delights around. Service was great with great selection of breakfast. High floor view of city. Just too bad there wasn’t any cooling aircond we could use as the window was tight shut. Great room size for family which is a plus point. Happy to come back again perhaps in the summer next time. JJuliganThe hotel is very close to Jilin University First Hospital and Wanjia Medical Examination Center, right next to Cultural Plaza. The soundproofing is good. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, and the front desk upgraded our room type and extended our check-out time for free. Their service awareness is excellent, and our stay was very pleasant. The only downside is that two bottles of water aren't enough; it would be great if they could provide four, like Atour hotels do.

KKerstin KaehlerThis was our second stay in three days - both times because of the nearness to Changchun Railway Station - and again we enjoyed the excellent service (even if your phone runs out of battery, there’s a two day weather forecast on your desk together with water and snacks, s. photo), classic Chinese hard mattresses and pillows (good for our backs) and the history exhibits that remind guests of the fact this hotel was first opened in 1909 in this very building.
This time, we did have time for their extensive breakfast buffet and it is indeed extensive: salad, various types of eggs, oats, fruit, cakes, Chinese dumplings, Chinese porridge (the local “hei mi” black rice is lovely), fried noodles, rice, steamed veggies and buns, toast, jam, various Chinese hot dishes, freshly made noodles, ….you get the idea. The only regret we had: they have a coffee machine - for instant coffee…. Lots of lovely teas, but only instant coffee, alas.
You can’t beat their price, either: RMB 304 for a twin bedroom including two breakfasts and two vouchers for afternoon tea.

GGuest UserHands down, choosing this hotel was the best decision for this trip! The moment I stepped into the lobby, the relaxing aroma instantly put me at ease. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel like an old friend. They quickly processed my check-in and even thoughtfully recommended some great local restaurants. The rooms are equipped with USB-C charging ports and were spotlessly clean – absolutely no complaints there. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, ensuring I had a wonderfully restful sleep. The bathroom features a convenient wet and dry separation, and the toiletries provided were of excellent quality. Breakfast offered a good mix of both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted great. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, conveniently close to major attractions and shopping centers, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. I'll absolutely be staying here again on my next visit!
