The hotel location is not on the beach side facing the Caribbean Sea, but there is a free water taxi or shuttle to hotels of the same group. However, in other hotels, it is not all-inclusive, and there is an extra charge for drinking a glass of water at the beach.
The hotel's restaurant isn't very tasty, but it has a lot of variety.
But all in all, this hotel's CP is quite high, and the price is considered a cheaper option in the hotel zone.

Mexico and all the wait staff were amazing! We just wish the bar and entertainment lasted later. They were always smiling and taking care of people. The chef was the best at the restaurant and the food was amazing but way too much lol Thank you for a fun stay!

We had a very enjoyable time at Sunset Marina resort and yacht club. I would read it five star. Unfortunately, there was not a beach, but we are able to take the water taxi over to the Royal hotel and use the beautiful ocean. The staff was outstanding, great music and very relaxing.

The Experience was Amazing!!! Day 1 VERONICA was our concierge she made sure we Enjoyed the Entire week. This resort along with Absolutely outstanding Staff Carlos, Carolina and Melissa greeted us with smiles as well as advised us on everything to do and enjoy. The water Taxis from resort to resort beautiful experience. Rooms spacious and cleaned everyday. Restaurants on site and close by very good. Activities in walking distance and tours available for pick up. We will go again. I recommend this location and the pool bar. I give them 5 stars

This is the nicest hotel on my opinion.Food was good.Server are all friendly.Servixe was fast .Facilities are all tidy and cleaned.All the staff are awesome. Definitely am coming with my friend and family and 100 percent I will recommended this hotel

I booked this resort through RCI to celebrate my son's high school graduation. There were a lot of positives about Sunset Marina. The property was beautiful and well maintained. It is on the marina side and not the beach side, but you can't easily take a bus or water taxi to the sister resorts for beach access. Sunset Marina is a very quiet resort, no party vibe happening here which had its pros and cons. The biggest turnoff was the smell of the room, both mildewy and sewer smells. I heard another guest complaining of the sewer smell too. We had a ground floor unit, so I'm not sure if the 2nd or 3rd floors would have that issue.
