Bushland Beach Tavern

Have had a wonderful afternoon at the Bushland Beach Tavern but can somebody please explain to me why you can’t have a drink in the smoking area after 5pm ? Makes zero sense !!! I’ve heard no smoking in eating area. That makes sense.Please please explain

3 of us stayed here on a ride around the country, and so glad we did. We stayed here because a mate lives in this outer suburb, if Scott didnt live in Townsville we would have ended up somewhere close to the city. Rooms have verandahs, sliding doors, easily at least twice the size of all the family rooms/ 2 bedroom apartments we had stayed at in prior 3 weeks on the road. Modern, clean, tidy, great water pressure and the added bonus of asking for and getting real milk. If I wanted to be nit picky only downsides were no conpendium in room or wifi, but they are minor compared to the advantages. Good food in the tavern as well. If I ever get to Townsville again this is where I will stay. If I ever get to Townsville again will This establishment is fantastic. Rooms are twice the size of the family rooms/2 bedroom apartments we had stayed in

Visited twice once planned 2nd due to A1 all day closure. Had 2 schnitzel very crisp second crumbed steak...both brilliant. Chicken bacon avocado wrap..lovely chicken, seniors meals great value..have smaller main yet include desert..apple crumble delightful. Staff very helpful. Fair wines prices lovely spot across from the beach easy parking.

The Tavern has been very hit and miss over the years haven’t been for ages. Went tonight with my elderly parents food excellent Thai beef salad parmi just perfect. parents had senior meals great value for money. Great service keep it up we will be back 😀 All the staff were lovely
