We stay here when on business in Budapest, and usually don't have problems but staying in 315 recently we were put next to people having a party in 317, it was really noisy, some kind of last night in Budapest flight crew thing. Why would you put business people next to party people? It just made no sense. We got moved for the night to a quieter suite on same floor, 323, which was great but the next day the front desk ”miscommunicated” us to the breakfast area to collect our breakfast boxes. Its puzzling. Overall the staff are super friendly and things usually go without a hitch and on that basis I would recommend. I really hope standards aren't slipping as it would be a shame.

Budapest is I'm definitely going to see the night view. There are several hotels to choose from to enjoy the view of the National Assembly building. No, this one had the best location. When I made the reservation, I was worried about what would happen if the facilities were not good. When I went there, I was surprised that it was much cleaner than I expected. Next time I go to Budapest again I will definitely visit again The river view is amazing

Amazing short break with some old Friends. The Hotel was fantastic, perfect location , terrific helpful staff and clean with funky designs. The food in the breakfast area was plentiful, varied and with a perfect Macchiato coffee machine . The bar staff were friendly, engaging and accommodating when we politely asked if the Bar could stay open a bit longer than advertised. We could not fault any aspect of our stay at all and I would certainly recommend it to both friends and colleagues thinking of going to Budapest.

The lobby is just fabulous and the Cafe de Paris, which is attached to, but not owned by (as I understand it) the hotel is totally amazing. Wonderful marble lobby, friendly and very efficient front desk/concierge staff and the rooms are good, but not exceptional. For sightseeing the location is not the best - there are no good restaurants around and about and the food on the hotel’s balcony overlooking the Cafe de Paris is boring and very expensive - as is the wine, and drinks in the lobby. We would recommend the hotel highly to friends but point out that the location is not the best for sightseeing - that said there is a Hop on, Hop off bus stop right outside the door.

Sometime people who write reviews are not objective and some others they are simply guilty. Well, while I was thinking to have been ignored, the staff of this hotel was working silently for me in the back stage. So that, first of all: THANKS A LOT TO EVERYONE. I apologize for my fault. I’m grateful for your promptness in sending to my home a stuff forgotten at the hotel. Coming to the experience, once upon a time…a way to manage hospitality. Here the hospitality is full of care. The hotel is perfectly located, a few walk from Chains Bridge , tram train and Budapest Parliament. When you get in you are enraptured by the stunning, lustful lobby and by the aroma on the air. We stay in a suite, which has all the amenities you need and a touch of elegance you do not find everywhere. The staff is all kind and helpful, starting from the valet Parker, the Concierge team, the Person who brings your luggage. Every need is considered with professionalism, respect and care. A special mention to the breakfast: you’ll find a right variety of international suggestions. What is it important to point out is the freshness and the quality of the food. In this case too, only few times the food quality related to a top rated hotel respect the expectation. Here the reality went over expectation. Finally, we can say to have been stayed at our home because each time we reach the hotel it was like we have been living there. Many thanks for the special delights founded into the room to celebrate my wife’s special occasion. Congrats to everyone for the hard, helpful, kind work which was the pillar of our amazing stay in Budapest. All the best and looking forward to a next stay.

The overall is not bad, but the room is too stuffy, even if the air conditioner is turned on, the temperature can't drop, obviously it's quite cold outside. The temperature difference between Europe and the outside world is too big, and I have to adapt to it... The restaurant is very good, and the dishes are also very rich!

This was our first time in Budapest and this hotel was the perfect location, just a block from St. Stephens Basilica and walking distance to everything. It was sparkling clean, had friendly staff and was everything we needed at an affordable price. We paid the extra small fee for the breakfast which was an easy way to start the day.

This hotel ticks all the boxes , location is brilliant bars and restaurants all around you’ll not struggle finding a drink or a place to eat , from burger joints to Michelin restaurants. Very close ruin bars and cafe New York , also the bus stop for the tour bus is within a 5 min walk , we got our bus tickets from the hotel and the women at the desk couldn’t be more helpful. The room we had was executive double it was huge had a lounge area with tea n coffee making facilities, separate shower n bath in the bathroom , mini bar offering everything you need to make your stay comfortable, the maids came every day cleaned our room and brought fresh towels, bedding and replenished our tea n coffee facilities. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely it had a huge offering there was something for everyone from fresh fruits ,pastries and juices to the hot selection bacon eggs etc , the hotel pool and sauna is brilliant and we used this every morning before breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest , we really couldn’t fault it on our visit here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The trams outside are non stop and even with ear plugs you can still hear them rattling along. The lobby area of each floor is set out in a big circle with the rooms round the outside and a hole in each floor all the way to the top so the noise of guests even from different floors carries like mad. On our final night a party came in late and were making so much noise running around and slamming doors that we couldn’t sleep and had to phone down to reception to ask them to send someone to shut them up. (Please don’t think I’m usually ‘that person’ as I’m really not!) The maids also started very early and are not in the least bit quiet….at times it felt like they were in the room with us. It’s a shame as the hotel is clean and the rooms are really nice and big. Powerful shower and comfy bed (tho lack of pillows meant we had to use the sofa cushions!) About a 20 minute walk from the ‘centre’ area - the area the hotel is in is pretty grubby but there’s a Tesco across the road for snacks and a metro station also very close. About a 20 minute walk from Astoria stop if you’re getting a bus from the airport. Very limited bar, no restaurant for anything other than breakfast, and no drinks making facilities in the room. I wouldn’t give the hotel 4 stars to be honest. The reception staff and breakfast staff were lovely, couldn’t fault them at all. Just a shame about the racket, by the end of the weekend we were dead on our feet, partly due to all the walking you usually do on a city break but mainly due to the lack of sleep! Because of this, I 100% would not stay here again and couldn’t recommend it to anyone who values a decent nights sleep.
