Power outages occur from time to time. Although the power is restored quickly, it can be caught off guard.
There is a subway station outside the hotel for easy travel, and there is also a restaurant nearby.

The staff was adorably nice, cleaning services are just amazing 10/10 Felt like home, I highly recommend this hotel for a calm, clean, and tranquil stay in bruxelle. Beside the very good service at the hotel, the area where the hotel exists are interested and close to everything you might need. Thanks barry hotel.

Booked this place online on their website. Got confirmation of booking for 10 min then got a cancelation notice. Tried to figure out why and the unprofessional service I received via emails with crude foul language. Never answered what I was asking "Should I rebook or look somewhere else". At first, I thought it was a joke and maybe I was communicating with a child but turns out he/she was the manager. Never had this type of experience in my life dealing with a business entity. I hope not all Belgian people like this. This is my first trip to Brussels.

This is a small, inexpensive family-run budget hotel situated just a 7-minute walk from the Grand Place with all its amazing sights and restaurants. The metro stop is literally just steps away and couldn’t be more convenient. Our room was well laid out, spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had amazing water pressure. The front desk were welcoming and knowledgeable, the housekeeping staff was amazing, too. The hotel is located in a safe area on a quiet square with a convenient supermarket, a bakery (sells great coffee, too) and on some days there is a stall selling delicious fresh fruit. We were very comfortable here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

There was construction work in the hotel starting early in the morning. It is a great way to wake up the guests. If the window was closed, the room was too warm. If the window was open, it was too noisy. The positive thing was the bed. It was really comfortable.

DO NOT BOOK! I was scheduled to stay at Hotel Barry at the end of April and only two days before the trip, I received an email saying my reservation had been cancelled due to card decline. I had received no notice from the hotel that payment was due nor that my card was to be charged. When I called to ask about the situation, I was informed that since there was an issue with my card, the reservation was cancelled (with no warning) and I would have to rebook online. Of course, prices had increased since my original booking. Now scrambling to find a place that is not super expensive on such short notice.
