I waited a few weeks before reviewing our stay to allow me time to calm as management were unprofessional. We booked this place as it had good reviews however I believe that they must have not stayed in Room 143 - 14th Floor. The location and views were certainly fantastic - Room 143 however was not. I booked 2 nights in a 3 bedroom apar**ent for 6 of us (3 couples) to stay the weekend - Friday and Sat 10th & 11th March 2023. I attended the front desk in August 2022 and booked the accommodation in person with management. I was advised the price was $660 for the 2 nights - booking and deposit made - confirmed by email. Upon arrival on the 10th march 2023 - we were given Room 143 - upon walking in - the room appeared a bit tired but the views and location made up for that. Whole apar**ent was very 'tired'. First person went to have a shower in the main bathroom - no hot water in that shower. I rang reception and first response was - "Well how many people have showered?" I explained it was the first person and they advised they would get a plumber in the next morning - to their word - the plumber arrived and he took one look and said - sorry this cannot be fixed and won't be able to use the shower. Spoke with management and their response was "You can use the showers in the pool area" - 10 floors down and not really appropriate. For the weekend we had 6 adults using the en suite shower!!! I suggested that perhaps a discount would be appropriate - especially as it didn't work from our arrival. I was advised they would look into it. The other issues that arose: 1. Rusted out ironing board (and broken for some time as it was not a fresh break) - we did manage to modify it to be able to use. 2. A band aid nicely placed on the main bedroom door knob 3. Got into bed and pulled the blanket up from the bottom and there is a dirty big stain right near my face 4. Curtains hanging off the hooks 5. The fridge rocking and rolling that we had to climb on the floor and adjust as the fridge felt like it would tip over when you tried to open the door 6. Apar**ent id for 6 persons - only 5 dining chairs inside and way less plastic outdoor chairs on the verandah - photos on website show 6 chairs 7. Water constantly dripping from ceiling on the verandah and very mouldy 8. Go to park the car - another car parked in our park. Unable to discuss the issues with management when we departed as the desk unmanned on a Sunday morning. I rang and emailed management - this was also an extremely disappointing experience: Stated they had discussed the shower issue with the owner of the apar**ent and they refused to provide any discount as we were offered an alternative showering arrangement - THE POOL. I also received a rude email that had a chop at me for requesting a discount after having given them a negative review on ***********.
