Had an issue where I booked three rooms but the hotel could only find the one room booked. Showed the staff my booking details from Trip and they could see I had three. After about 20 minutes they gave me the two additional rooms and they said they would investigate. Really pleased that they were able to sort this out very quickly. Breakfast was really good. Only two minutes walk to the sea front. We had access to the the site 25 hour gym and their spa. My mum was the only one who went and she enjoyed it. Would definitely go back again.

Just stayed for one night at this hotel. Like some others, I had an issue with the air conditioning. As it’s a new build it should be powerful and efficient, it’s not. On arrival it was a stuffy, warm 23.5 so I adjusted it down to 19 (it wouldn’t let me go down to 18 which was annoying) and hoped it wouldn’t take long for the temperature to reduce. Many hours later it had only dropped a little and then at 11pm it stopped altogether when it was 21 degrees so no idea what that’s about.🤷‍♀️ I kept waking up throughout the night as was too hot. You can’t open the window so was uncomfortable so if you’re menopausal or prefer a colder room go elsewhere. The shampoo bottle had come off the wall already even though the hotel hasn’t been open very long. The water from the shower doesn’t drain away quick enough so your bathroom floor ends up very wet despite the bath mat soaking up most…..badly designed by the looks of it. Breakfast options are limited for vegetarians, I ended up having scrambled egg (which was powdery/horrible texture) mushrooms and beans. The queue for the toaster was long. It was very busy and the placement of everything just didn’t flow. Weirdest layout of a hotel buffet I’ve ever seen. I did enjoy a couple of pastries from it though. I stayed in room 414, it’s at the back of the hotel on the top floor. The bed was comfortable and it had lovely big telly. The hairdryer works well.

My husband booked a weekend away for our wedding anniversary, he surprised me by booking us into the spa also! It was the most relaxing and amazing experience I’ve ever had. I chose to have a facial and Mel was so warm and welcoming I was at complete ease. The products she used smelt incredible and my skin feel so much more hydrated and fresh. Cannot thank Mel enough for her kindness and expertise! You made our first wedding anniversary very special!

If you ever feel like the day to day stress is pressing hard on your shoulders this is the place you need to be! The spa was amazing, the treatments were lovely and the facilities were great. The girls were all nice and very attentive. I would definitely recommend! Mel and her team couldn't do enough to make me feel welcomed ! One of the best massages I have ever had! 5 out of 5!!X

I had an hour anti aging facial treatment on Saturday 6th September 2024 with Theresa Burridge, it was very relaxing and my skin feels so soft and hydrated. The products that she used smelt amazing. Definitely would recommend the experience.

Hotel was clean throughout ,room was large and had good storage and facilities. Check was easy parking was bailable but very expensive and even when paying for 24hrs of you left at all you could lose your spot and have to pay again to park elsewhere although there is good public transport links to Torquay etc including boat rides Breakfast was poor quality not what was expected at all much nicer and cheaper food available outside of hotel same as drinks very good connive which is a shame as would loved to have had an evening in hotel bar relaxing. Staff were kind friendly and efficient particularly breakfast team and housekeeping who worked hard and were thorough. A comfortable lounge area in bar or somewhere in front of hotel would be fab as hard seating wasn’t inviting to stay and relax with a drink and the view .

We went for an evening meal to try the restaurant out. They had a £10 burger deal which seemed very cheap. We ordered this and were utterly disappointed by the quality of the burger. The 2 tiny patties were totally overcooked and there was no salad on the burger. The burger bun was also burnt. It was dry and tasteless and there was only 1 person in the bar area. He was extremely busy so could not get his attention to complain.The £10 offerwas clearly designed to attract customers but they will not win anyone over with what they are offering and we will never go back

We enjoyed our stay here . Hotel and Rooms fresh and clean , great views if you have a sea view room. Parking onsite which is a bonus, didn’t mind having to pay a small fee . A Spa onsite is a bonus . Manager works hard covering many roles in the hotel, including chef - making crepes on the evening. Evening meal was pleasant . 3. suggestions for improvement: 1. Use good quality ingredients for breakfast ( eggs and sausages were not great ). 2. Additional/ ongoing training in hospitality, perhaps new employees recently onboarded, were lacking in experience . 3. Staff should wear a standard uniform, one lady on reception looked scruffy. In this industry appearances are everything. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay, would definitely stay again. Thank you
