Location is the reason why I booked here. Services were good. The bed was very comfortable for me. Things are getting a bit old in the room considering the age of this hotel.

I forgot to book my breakfast and it is quite costly (A$42) for walk-in. I don’t know I have another choice till I reached Melbourne Novotel Hotel. Trip.com is very helpful that helps me contact the hotel and lower my charges in breakfast. It is too late to know that! I paid $42 for my breakfast. 😢

I dont feel like its a 4/5 star hotel, old building and very small bath room, services were ok, the staffs were not professional enough! Just a simple question about breakfast buffet but had to ask 2 people to confirm and even they were not quite sure about it!

My room actually very close to construction site. The workmen can see into my room and see what I do in the room. Had to close the curtain all the time. Also, this morning the housekeeping lady just knocked the door and went into the room. I was half naked and doing stretching. I yelled as it’s very very very annoying. The gym small but not enough weights and equipment. No need so many treadmills, sparing some space for stretching or HIIT is good.

I loved the Brisbane Hyatt. I ended up spending four more nights there and it just couldn’t get enough. It was centrally located. I was able to get around town very easily. I was able to walk over to the wonderful Parkland lake where the big party is in the middle of town where everybody’s at the beach and playing volleyball having fun The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was modern and clean and eco-friendly so all in all I was quite impressed and I’m sure I’ll be back in the future. Thank you very much! I’m a big fan.

Holiday Inn Express Brisbane offers a convenient location near the city centre, ideal for business and leisure travelers looking to explore Brisbane. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with essentials, providing a good night's sleep. However, the room service quality is disappointing, with slow response times and a lack of attention to detail. The included breakfast is a plus, and the staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful, but the room service experience detracts from the overall stay. For those who prioritize location and convenience over dining quality, it remains a decent value option in Brisbane.

I was in Brisbane for business and chose to stay at Voco Brisbane because it was near the conference I was required to attend. I had a great stay - staff were friendly and the rooms were a decent size. The view of the Brisbane river was also nice, particularly at sunrise. The hotel was conveniently located although the street was a little too secluded at night. But that is a personal preference. I will try other Voco hotels across Australia during my next work trip.

Excellent
SShxrzGreat location in the city. However, amenities and cleanliness of the rooms are very outdated and not maintained (Hence, the dustiness in certain items such as hairdryer & nespresso machine). Telephone in the room had hardly any instructions on how to use it as well as not being able to function when using it to call reception/room service.

PPingan2005The hotel is not bad, send the child to the University of Queensland, take a taxi to the school for 20 Australian dollars, it is a little problem to stay, Ctrip service is very good, and later solved,
GGuest UserI had a perfectly pleasant stay until thhe day before I checked out when someone from reception entered the room (while I was in there) under the impression that I was supposed to have checked out. It was probably a simple mistake, which while invasive is also understandable. No apology, but they are mostly meaningless anyway and it probably wasn't the fault of the person who entered the room. Hadbit ended there I wouldn't have mentioned it, but the same thing happened again when despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door housekeeping also entered the room also under the mistaken impression that I had checked out. I called reception after the second incident and was put on hold for 18 minutes before they eventually tried to put the blame on housekeeping (and repeatedly got my name wrong, which I wouldn't have cared about if it weren't for the being on hold and the weasily attempt to put what was clearly a reception error on the housekeeping staff). The whole incident left a lingering bad impression, which is unfortunate after an otherwise very pleasant and uneventful stay.
RRosemary EastonOn arrival, there was no booking. Cancelled dates, however, were located by reception. The dates booked was arrive 11th and check out on the 12th . This booking had been changed and trip.com sent confirmation. This had not been recorded. not the fault of the Wellington, but yours. Receptionist was able to retrieve payment for 10th. There is still another payment that has been taken from our account. I was promised this would be refunded in 10 to 14 days. I will be waiting for this. Fortunately, there was one room vacant and we did have a bed for the night. I will not be using trip.com for any further bookings.
The Wellington is in need of some updating. Chairs in room were average. Mattress should be replaced. Showers should be updated. The Tv would not connect to any free to air channels without major interference. Luckily Netflix worked. Providing a continental breakfast for over nighters would be appreciated and hopefully a restaurant will be reinstated.I have been staying there occasionally for twenty-two years and see the detioration of what was/ could be a four-star accommodation.
GGuest UserPretty good apartment but I wish there was at least a mini fridge, it's not accommodating for buying food or even drinks and keeping It cold it seems like they'd rather you buy food elsewhere and not have anywhere to keep it other than that it was good
LlxgnetThis hotel is in a great location, on the famous Kangaroo Point, within walking distance of the Story Bridge. Brisbane's CBD is across the river. There is a No. 234 bus to the city center next to the hotel, so transportation is very convenient. In particular, the hotel owner and the front desk manager are very kind and enthusiastic, giving people a very comfortable feeling. I like it!
