Was bitten to shreds by bedbugs in this very hotel, on the first night. Bitten from toes to eyelids. Horrible itching and bad allergic response triggered by the bugs. Hotel management in full denial. I had to see the emergency doctor for a massive cortisone dose, and another doctor due to the allergic response the bites triggered. Yet, this is what the manager offered: ”We will continue to observe the room, but so far there are no animals present.... But to express our condolences for the circumstances, we can give you a credit for the night you spent in the room.” Are you confident this can't happen again? Not returning.

Hotel location is very good, five minutes walk from Bremen train station. The surrounding area is full of scenic spots. If you don't use Google Maps with foreign networks, you can use Baidu maps to navigate. Not far from the hotel, there is a Chinese restaurant Cuiyuan restaurant. As a person who does not eat Chinese food for a week, I can eat a hot meal and it is very satisfying.

The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by downtown commercial streets, and the traffic is fairly convenient. Welcome chocolates and fruits are provided on the day of check-in. There is also a handwritten card, which is very warm. There are also disposable slippers and toiletries provided in the room, which is not easy in Europe, and it is considered very thoughtful. The hotel’s breakfast is quite plentiful, but it’s a pity that I stayed there for 3 days without any changes. I eat exactly the same thing for breakfast every day, which is a bit crumbling. The hotel does not have free parking. You have to park in the parking lot next to it for 12 euros a day. If you can’t find the parking staff during non-working hours, then you have to pay 12 euros for each entry and exit, which is very inconvenient.

We had to check in at 15:00, 2 rooms booked, everything was payed in advance. Arriving by 15:00 they tell us that one room is ready and the other will take 30 minutes, so I went up 30 mins later and had to wait another 20 minutes, just because the supervisor saw me waiting in the hall,otherwise it would have taken longer. At the reception they just said sorry and they couldn't even explain because the english level was not to keep a conversation, only one lady could speak English well, but she couldn't be there during all my stay, ofc. We stayed 3 days for business, and because they didnt give me the room at the time I lost one meeting. Also, 2 days after the stay they came to clean the room and took one cigarette from my pack that was on the table, not difficult to remember when I had 3 left and after arriving to the room I had 2 left. The curtains had some old spots like from the last century. The rooms are super small, feels like in a cave, but ok, I'm not a princess. The cleaning is ok, I asked for one more towel because they provide 2, and never got it. The breakfast buffet is 15€ but very few options, so I recommend to cross the street and have an amazing breakfast in the bakery for 15€ per 2.

I loved my time at Best Western!! I stayed here for 8 days with my wife and son and we found the apartment large and comfortable. The location is ideal and is just a few hundred metres away from Hauptbahnoff, the main train station and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. There is a large REWE supermarket across the main road but beware that it's closed on Sundays. From the airport, it's a 20 minutes taxi ride to this place and will cost 20 euros. Breakfast was included in my package at an extra cost but the spread was disappointing and the menu was the same everyday. As it was Christmas time, the hotel was packed with travellers and it was also difficult finding a table in the mornings. But the staff were very friendly and warm. Bremen also has one of the best Christmas markets in Germany and its about 4 tram stops away from Best Western. But it's also easily walkable and it takes about 10 minutes.

As im currently touring Germany I an seeing a lot of hotels and this one is by far the worst I've ever stayed in. I have learnt that if a hotel has a very modern/trendy reception, then the rooms will be BAD. This seems to be a trend. If I had booked this room myself I would have not stayed in it at all and requested a refund straight away. This hotel needs gutting and remaking. The decor is OLD, very much USED and Not well maintained. If you search online the pictures are bright, airy and clean. As you will see from my pictures you will see it looked smoke stained and filthy. The bathroom shower needs a very good scrub, the heater needs some care as does the mould by the toilet. The room comes with a hot plate but nothing to use on it. You get given a kettle and cups but not even a single tea bag or coffee sachet. The corridors look like there has been a Hurd of cattle walking down them. Unfortunatley for me I had to stay in this hotel for four nights. The pizza boxes were left outside a room for 3 days before the cleaning staff decided to move them. At breakfast a colleague of mine asked for fried eggs which they say they offer but they refused him eggs even though it was 20 minutes before the end of breakfast, he then asked for more baked beans as they had all gone to which they bought out cold ones for him. The staff then sat at the back of the dining room having their own food. Its always nice to feel like the staff are there to serve the guests. I think this covers most things and as you can see I was not impressed with this sorry excuse for a hotel. Google gives it 3 stars, this is very generous. Its a 1 from me

I’m really angry. Ctrip-friendly hotels are all given fixed rooms. How many times I’ve had fun with the argument, and they’re all on the first floor. The rooms are usually on the side of the elevator and stairs. It's like this every time, and it feels very scary and noisy. Thinking about Ctrip’s cooperative agency, they also give discounts and low prices to rooms that others think are not good. I think Ctrip is convenient to book a room with a mobile phone. Feeling marginalized now is not as good as booking directly in euros.

The hotel is ideally located for visiting the city centre (5 minutes walk away). The hotel is located along the street and bars. The staff is very friendly, the hygiene rules are respected. We had a number of issues resolving the booking with the Hotel prior to our visit but this did get resolved to our satisfaction prior to visit eventually. Easy check in, room was ideal for weekend break lots of nice contemporary touches both in room and within the Hotel. Excellent breakfast included in room rate. Location is prime for a break in Bremen. Highly recommended, good value for money, the number 6 Tram to/from airport stop is approx 100 Mtrs from Hotel, making it super easy to transit without need for taxi transfer.
