Because my friend stayed at Holiday Inn, I booked two days at Hilton and transferred to Holiday Inn. My son's first year of school, the school booked the hotel as a dormitory. Because there was no kitchen, I suffered a lot in the first year of the epidemic.
The double room is large, but the breakfast is worse than Hilton.

I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Blacksburg multiple times. The past 3visirs I’ve been greeted by a very aloof borderline rude check in person. Not what I need after a long drive. Also, the hallway leading to my room had garbage lying about and food outside of one room.
The room is always comfortable but the overall experience quite mediocre. I may go back to the previous place I’ve stayed before .

Most comfortable beds in Blacksburg!! Maid service for stay over is very limited. Did not come at all one day. Electric between beds did not work. The comfort of the beds made up for the few negatives. Overall a great stay.

The hotel was fine but my daughter slept on the sofa bed and when I went to front desk to get a pillow for her the front desk girl said she had no pillows and I said there is nowhere you can find her a pillow and she shrugged her shoulders and said we are sold out. I went to my room and at that time I was still showing hotel availability.

TV didnt work and they couldnt fix it during the stay.
Another guest was given my same room #, luckily the other guest was unable to enter my room.
Otherwise, clean property and friendly staff.
