South Beach Kings Promenade Hotel

The wee hotel was fantastic, a great warm welcome at reception by a lovely lady who was there to help through our whole stay. The two rooms we had, had great views, beds comfy, rooms clean and generally all great. It is located near McDonald’s, so great for the kids, only a few mins walk from south pier, straight across from a tram stop and less than 10 mins walk down to pleasure beach. We never used the Tiki bar located on site, though looked fun, and loads of space inside and out. The staff were great and gave us a better deal than we could get with any of the online sites. Very hospitable and helped on checkout and with our way around the area. I see a few reviews noting about the deposit, this was all explained on check in and quickly returned on check out. Simples don’t break or ruin things and you don’t have to pay for them? Lovely wee stay in triple rooms with the kiddies. Thank you again.

I would say the reviews were off putting but we gave it a chance and what a mistake we made. The location is ok but everything else is a disaster. Room was dirty and the place had a bad smell. The staff were rude and unfriendly. We are still awaiting a refund for the bond. Wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

Hotel was lovely and clean staff very friendly especially lady at front desk very helpful had a fab stay would highly recommend the hotel great locatiom and room was lovely great view would defo come back my little boy lover it five mins walk to pier and pleasure beach

Hotel was in a great location, sea view room which was lovely, right next to North Pier. Staff very friendly. £60 cash given on checking for a bond to cover for damage. Got back in cash when leaving. No issues whatsoever. Room - room was very clean, beds very comfortable, bathroom looked newly refurbished, clean. Towels good quality. Tea/coffee facility available in the room. These arnt negatives more constructive feedback - Bedroom lighting was a little dim, made the room feel dark as the walls are dark anyway. The neighbours to our bedroom came back at around 1am very very loud, kept us awake for 1am - 1:45am, no fault of the hotel, can happen anywhere. Only thing that would of been helpful was an emergency number for the evening as the landline wasn't answered and in the early hours with a young child, leaving the room in PJs to go to reception wasn't an option. So that would be a help for those that need to get in touch with hotel for any reason. Fantastic value. Would go back again.

Its a wannabe its neither a b&b or hotel there is a bar all draughts out of order can only buy bottles there was a lift but out of order bar closes at 8pm no entertainment no wifi in rooms the room we was very cold and had to put towels at front door to keep draught out numbers on doors were raffle ticket will definitely not be returning how on tripadvisor it scored 10/10 i have no idea how

Room was spotless and modernly decorated, nice big telly with usual channels. Tea, coffee and kettle in the room.... no sweetener tho. Bed very comfortable with plenty pillows. I was in room 214... SMALL TIP - run the sink tap until you get hot water then turn shower on. Only thing that disappinted me was couldn't get a plate and fork for my Chinese and the request for a £60 bond which i refused to pay

The property is beautiful, rooms have been done up to a high spec , and high quality, only down side no many pms es to eat around there , you need to get yam down to where it’s busy

Hotel was brilliant. Attended as a family. Room was amazing. 2 double beds and a single in one room. And a double in the other. Huge shower, extremely clean and fantasic staffing on the 24hr reception
